I've met some people who's terribly upset when they caught you staring at them. They often react and treat you something like a criminal. When it happened that you stare at them. There's some time that I stare in a certain things or person but my mind was really somewhere.
I don't really care if I caught someone staring at me.
So do you get bothered when you caught a stranger staring at you, regardless his/her appearance?

I certainly do. But sometimes people stare
at you for different reasons. Others may have mistaken
you as their long lost friends. Or you look like a movie star.
Or you have a dirt on your face. Basically people stare because
there's something in that person that caught their interest.

Absolutely, they stares at you for a reason that you caught their attention. And that only makes you aware of your beauty. Since there are few good reasons why people stares at you. So staring is not all a bad thing.

I would say it depends on the person staring back at you and the circumstance. Typically when men stare at me which is usually the appraising stare, they are often looking at me up and down. I'll admit if it's an attractive man I actually don't mind it. I'm European so we're used to forward men over there.;) However, if it's a very unattractive man or old man, then I will be offended and possibly wrinkle my nose at them. I find that when women stare at other women quite often to, for example comparing their bodies with each other, faces, etc. People look at beauty all the time, that's what we've been programmed to do. If I see an attractive male or female, I will automatically look at them, especially what they're wearing, but I never give a rude stare. I do dress very trendy and fashion forward and have seen some women give me rude looks like I stepped off the moon or something? lol I'll usually catch their eye and raise my eyebrow at them.

Yeah, your absolutely right, some people stares at you simple because they compare themselves, or feel insecure or admires your beauty or simply they're day-dreaming. It's a normal thing and there's nothing to get upset all the way. It's important to refrain ourselves from acting paranoid, and we should take consideration on how they stares toward us.
Anyways thanks for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

i will not only feel annoyed but also very afraid. i will wonder why s/he stares at me in such a way? anything wrong with me? anything wrong with him/her? is there any danger? with these thoughts, i will walk away from the strange as quickly as i can.

Well, it's usual reaction to feel afraid especially when you're all by yourself. But there's also some good reasons why a stranger stares at you, perhaps he/she admires your look, or want to be friend with you, or trying to remember a person who's look like you.
Anyways thanks for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

Definitely, I'd experienced that situation. But if I'm in good mood, I completely pay no attention. There's just some people you can't understand whats going on their mind. But it's okay.LOL

it would depend on how the person stare at me. if it is out of admiration of my looks, i would be happy to . but if that is some kind of smirk or some disdain look like they are thinking how bad i look or some sort of look then i will be of course be insulted and get angry.

Yeah, it should be depend on how the person stares at you. It's not a good thing to just simply react and get paranoid. Yeah, staring on a person is an impolite behavior but we just can't help it. Aside from that there's also some good reasons why people stares to at you.

Well if they are staring at me I wonder if something is wrong? do I have a big stain or rip on my clothes I didn't realize? Was I pg @ the time and had that infamous "pregnancy glow"?
Though I did stare at a girl when I was in 7th grade and she threatened to beat me up. I wasn't trying to "stare" but she always had the latest clothes and was a trend setter in the class. Who wouldn't stare at someone like that? Just for ideas? Or to see what her latest outfit was? Whatever.... we're grown now & I have no idea what happened to her since 7th grade.

well. that's not so annoy and i think if some stranger staring at me and i discoverred that then i will have a look at him/her to see what they are interesting about and if i found they are friendly i may smile with them . if not they just stare them back or never be bothered by them.

It doesn't really bother me unless it's been an on-going thing... However, I got very upset when I saw someone I didnt know in my place of work as a client, filming me with their cell phones. They were promptly told where to stow their phones and escorted off of the property.

It depends on the stranger's look and his appearance. Most of the time I get bothered and because maybe he or she is thinking of something bad and I don't want any thing to happen to me. So, I would prevent from happening I would call his or her attention and ask why are you staring at me, it is impolite to stare at someone you know. Then I'm off. I don't mind if they got mad or they are hurt I am just protecting my own rights and help myself prevent from any heinous crime that would include me in it and the worst is that I am a victim of that crime.

Yes i do get annoyed. I dont like the fact that someone is staring at me. I dont know why. But in my country, staring can get you into a lot of problem. Teenagers these days are just sitting around waiting to get into fights. Answering your question, ys i do get bothered!

That's happening commonly to people, I think. I'll decide how to react according to his/her appearance. Someone said when you were stared at, you'd better stare back at him/her, so that you may get some "energy" or "power" from him/her. I'm not sure of it. But others' staring won't really hurt you.

well all my life people have been staring at me, over the years this hatred/rage/resentment has been building up inside of me because of them staring, i go to a shopping mall and i swear everyone stares at me, its like they are fueling this fire inside of me and one day its going to explode and everyone is going to pay. I have constant thoughts of killing them all and paying them back for all the times they stared at me with their smirks and disgusting looks. I try to dress like them, look like them i just want to blend in, but no matter what i do they still stare at me like im a freak, i find it hard to blend in with society it only makes the rage inside even larger. its a struggle thou cause when im alone these feelings subside, but when im out with crowds of people the anger and rage flares up whenever they stare at me. What does the future hold for me ? i dont know, i do fear one day im just going to loose it - most likely in a shopping mall or some other crowded place, i wish they would just stop staring....for their sake.

yeah staring is weird. stop it. it creeps me out. This really creepy old guy at work always stares at me. One day I decided to be nice, and I said "good morning" he didn't say anything. Just kept staring with his creepy little look. He probably wears ladies stockings at home, and dances around with a baby doll to rocket man.

Well, the first emotion I face is becoming self conscious, whether there is something odd about the way I am dressed or the way I look. This is followed by fear, and then confrontation. Generally, the person who stares realizes and looks away. It is rare that the person has continued to stare. One of them when confronted mentioned that he thought I was somebody he knew, and the other person just kept quiet. I guess my features are very common out here.

i, personally, get annoyed when i catch someone staring at me.
i had this unfortunate incident five years ago where someone tried to put my life in danger (i don't want to elaborate on this, criminal is still out there). from then on, i am very much wary of people staring at me or following me.

I think it depends on the person staring at you and how he/she stares at you. Personally I feel annoyed for no reason at that person who is staring at me.. sometimes I get paranoid and question myself, is there something wrong with my appearance?.. it depends on how that person looks at you. But If in case a beautiful sexy girl is looking at me.. It's super okay that she stares at me all day long hehe kidding :)
