Hello. I have traveled overseas a number of times, and I have to make sure that I have everything I need on the journey. There are anumber of things ofcourse, starting with the passport. One thing I make sure that I have with me is the medicine I have to take on a daily basis. It may be available in the country I am visiting, but could be a different brand. I do not wish to take a different brand when I have been taking the one brand for many years.

Some of the things on my travel check list are: Tickets, passport, insurance, visa, cash, mobile, mobile charger, medicine, dictionaries, phrasebooks, maps, notebooks, pens, calender, camera, books and magazines to read, water, candy, padlocks, clothes, toiletries etc. I usually try to travel light, but it isn't always easy A few months ago I went on vacation in Lithuania and Latvia, our trip lasted 10 days, and I thought that it would be easy to pack my suitcase, but at first I couldn't even close the suitcase, so I had to remove some of the clothes

i plan our trips right down to what we are going to do each day we are there. this past weekend we went on a two day trip to san antonio to see how they've updated and extended the river walk another 1.5 miles. it was nice and real romantic. our suite was so lovely. we were on the 20th floor of the crowne plaza hotel with this miraculous view. my husband tells me on the last day there that today we are just going to relax and stay in bed. now mind you we have been married for 14 years and just celebrated our anniversary on july 22nd. usually when we travel we are all over the city or state of which we go to see. this time i agreed with him and really enjoyed a nice quiet evening without our two sons. we left them at home which wasn't a first and they always do well. they are much older. so we are truly blessed. i can't complain. i really don't have a checklist. i pack the night before we depart and what ever we don't have we usually purchase the next day after arrival. But i do agree its good to plan.
