With the invention of washing machines a huge work load is taken off from the poeple. That huge work load is none other than washing the clothes.I think it has helped immensely to women who had to wash the clothes with bare hands till now.Imagine washing the clothes of children which would be very dirty. Do you wash your clothes in washing machines or bare hands?

our househelper washes most of our soiled clothes manually. for heavy curtains and blankets, we use the washing machine to do it. there are some dirt, however, that doesn't get off using the machine, so u just have to do it manually. happy washing, lol.

maybe so but we also get some of your best products sold here. we just feel that sometimes we are not contented by the machine doing so. we just need to do some more cleaning in the neckline and armpit area. some of the stains don't get off with the machine. we feel it is best to do it by hand as we know better where the stains are. thanks for ur comments. God bless!

The only way that I've ever washed my clothes is with the washing machine. I wasn't around before the days of the washing machine, so I couldn't even begin to imagine life without it. I love the fact that I can just drop in the clothes, choose the settings. Put in the detergent and start the load. Then, I am free to go on about my other daily tasks. The thought of having to wash things by hand is so imposing. I couldn't imagine having to sit there and wash the clothes until they were clean by hand.

I wash everything in the washing machine, sorting out colours and with lukewarm or cold water. I only wash when there´s a loadfull. I have spent money in underwear to save in laudry. I never iron. I have a couple of things that need iron (summer, poplin clothes of real cotton) and I wash them and take them to my daughter´s house. Her maid used to be my maid, we love each other and she does it with no problem. It is true that many times, when she is alone and bored at the house, I go for a coffee with her and help her out at her work.

Hi krupesh, I prefer using the washing machine coz it allows me to multi-task. Normally after I've thrown the dirty clothes into the washing machine, I proceed with cleaning the house, cooking, etc, anything that will allow me to use the time while waiting for the machine to buzz off. I still do wash clothes by hand but only for some select fabric/material that will be deformed when machine-washed. Otherwise, I let the machine do its job, it's what it's invented for in the first place

It is very convenient to wash clothes using the washing machine and hand wash is just like for small clothes or delicate clothes. But I think the old fashioned way to wash clothes is still by hand and some people prefer to do it that way because they believe that washing clothes by machine may damage the cloth of the dress.

I usually wash my clothes with bare hands. I don't prefer washing machines. Because, I feel that color of the clothes will fade quickly when we wash them in Washing Machines. Also, dirt in the collars, hands cannot be removed easily in washing machines. It is better we soak them in some powders for some time and then wash them properly usind some brush... this will retain the color and also the life time of the clothes u are using...

I use washing machine for my daily cloths but some cloths like silk dresses needs hand wash. With the invention of washing machines it make life easier. I don't think anyone would trade in their washing machine in preference for hand washing.

I always use the washing machine to wash the clothes. It is clean. I don't think it's necessary for me to wash the clothes by my hands. It spends time and it's tiring. This is why the washing machine is available. I love China

I wash my clothes with the machine too. I can do a lot of things waiting for them to tumble dry and then hang them outside, it is so much more convenient.

Hi Krupesh Well since the invention of the washing machine I choose for that to be my rist choice when doing the laundry.. Howevcer there are some fabrics that require me to wash them by hand one thing I wash by hand are my pantyhose, and a blouse that I own with very delicate buttons on them and sequence, also I have a pair of compression stocking that I have to wear at work because I am on my feet all day and they really help my legs feel better. If I put those in the washing machine they will shrink for sure LOL

I prefer washing machines. Unless it is a very fragile peice of fabric, that I will have to wash with my hands because I don't want to ruin it...

Washing machines do decreases the wash load.In my home there isn't a washing machine my mum washes the clothes, also I help her when its my dress that is to be washed only in my weekdays.People using it often says, the washing machine doesn't clean the covered areas, especially the part of the underarm, collar. But they also say washing machines with turbo and high speed whirling power are handy for this. My mum complaints of always washing with bare hands because its difficult and far more time is spent.

It depends on the type of clothes. Some of my clothes cannot be put in the washer because they're delicate or they will shrink/get ruined. The ones I wash with my bare hands are mostly shirts.

We are in USA , we are blessed with all the technology and resources to wash out clothes with state of the art washing machines. Even the one who doesn't own a washer and dryer they can always go to a public facility and pay about 0.75 Cents per load up to 10 LBS. you cannot beat that . God bless America.

Most of my clothes I wash in the washing machine but there are a few things I still wash by hand. They are usually things that have some sort of accessory on it for instance I have some pants that have a wooden circle that cannot be removed so I wash this by hand and some blouses that have beads on them that are also washed by hand. There are some other delicate silky blouses that need to be gently washed. None of the items I mentioned go into the dryer either, I just line dry or lay flat to dry.

We wash our clothes in a washing machine, though when my fiance and I get married and have our own place I am thinking about buying an older washing machine that doesn't take too much water or electricity. I can't remember what their called but I believe you have to pump the machine yourself. It would be good for the environment.

I wash with my hands sometimes and use the washing machine also. It actually depends on the load of cloths accumalated and also the dirt on it. I generally wash small things like a hand-towel, socks etc by hand always.

I prefer to wash my clothes in a washing machine. I wash my dirty clothes once a week, and imagine if I am going to wash that with bare hands. Huh!. The reason why it is invented is to lessen the burden of hand washing. But choosing among the quality of machined wash clothes and hand washed clothes, I prefer the latter.
