loosing weight really takes time and there's no pills that help him because there's a chance that the pills can do more damage than beneficial. my advise is that don't eat too much, exercise regularly, control yourself from eating when ever you are hungry and instead drink water.

Well there are so many tips online for getting slim. However, I would like to mention some basic tips for loosing weight which are as folows :
1) Avoid Junk food
2) Even if you are along with your friends or relatives and you are at a party or
at an occassion busy seeing people eating lavish food, at that time you must
keep your focus right at that time. At that time, you decide to stick to
limited food at the party and dont start binging there, even if others do.
3) Drink water as it helps to loose weight. Drink warm water, the first things you
wake up in the morning.Warm water helps to strengthen your digestive
system.
4) Everything depends on what you eat. Your health including your weight will
depend upon what you eat.

Exercise, take at least 30-minute brisk walk daily. at least this can help burn the calories and fat. it's also good for the heart.

Well firstly, diet pills don't work. I have tried alot of them and figured out pretty quick that they don't work. Also, just excersizing won't do the trick either if your friend's eating habbits are still bad.
But something that does work is taking white sugar out of your diet and trying the Suzane Somers diet. I know her set may be expensive, I was lucky enough that my Mom had her books. But the idea is to not eat any white sugar because that is what causes all of the stomach fat.
But that doesn't mean you have to eat like a rabbit or anything. And also if your friend tries going from the sugar free diet then let them know they cannot eat carbs, pro-fats, and fruits together.
Fruits should always be eaten on an empty stomach, at least 1-2 hours before or after any meal. And if you have any sorts of meats you cannot have any carbs with it, so stick with veggies with meats. but look up Suzane Somers and you can probably get other good tips.
Oh! And you can also still eats sweets! I had a really good chocolate Mouse tonight and I didn't even have to feel guilty because I ate it after I had a profats meal and it was good for me. It just dependson what is in it.
I've only done this a week and I've already lost 3-4 lbs. And I'm loving this! The hardest part is getting used to eating your foods seperately. But I am craving less white sugar which is super good.

Oh thank you for your tip. I've already said to her to try the FHM challenge. It's also like what you've suggested. Carbohydrates are the main reason of getting fat right? But here in the Philippines, rice has been the main component of a dish that's why it's really hard to take away. Sweets are also bad, but it really tastes good. That's the reason why I think my friend is really having a hard time to lose weight.
