We buy our music because that means we can take the CD's with us in the car when we are travelling.

None. Downloading it off the net is illegal. I usually just listen to the radio.

We do both here. A lot of times we will download something and if it's really good or something we really like then we go out and purchase the CD. That's one reason why I get mad at those who claim sharing music on the web is illegal and unfair. That's the best way for people to get your music and see if they like it.

I buy a cd as I prefer to have it there and play it as I want to. I usually 'rip' it to my computer as well, so I can play it with that as well, or if the cd gets a scratch or something, but I usually like to have the cd and cover with my music.

I down load from the computer. Haven't been able to find a new site that works. I had to actually go out and buy my daughter a CD for one song. ($25.00) ouch!

I buy music. I will confess to having downloaded some songs in the past, but after giving it a lot of thought, I came to the conclusion that I didn't feel right about it. For me personally it is pirating/stealing from another artist. I wouldn't want someone to steal what I write without paying for it. I don't want to do that to another person. Bad karma. So I buy the cd, even if there is only one song on it I want.
