What toppings do you prefer on your hotdog? Although is sounds a little strange, I like mayo, mustard, chili, and onions on my hotdog. If all of the above isn't available, I'll go for a chili cheese dog. How about you?

When I eat a hotdog (not very often) I return to infancy. I put every posible thing. First it´s mayo, over it mashed avocado and diced tomato. On top mustard, hot chile paste and sour Kraut. I eat it without shame while the people around me laugh. Most of the times I end end up with mustard in my nose.

We don't have hot dogs that often since my youngest isn't a hotdog fan. Whenever I have a hotdog I can either eat it plain, with ketchup or chili and cheese.

At the bare minimum, mustard and onions. If onions are not available then relish (preferably dill) is an inferior substitute, though more common. Sauerkraut would be a plus if available.
The most interesting one I had they called a "Chicago Dog" that had tomatoes, peppercinos, onions, pickles, and probably a few other fruits and vegetables that I cannot recall. Very difficult to keep together ...

we don't really it hotdogs at home since my mom is a health buff, so I rarely get to even eat hotdogs. :( However when I do buy hotdogs, I always pick the cheese and bacon topping, or cheese and mushroom. If only mayo or ketchup or mustard are available, then I eat it without toppings.
