How do you know if your partner is mature?

I dated someone much younger than I but I broke up with him because I felt he was immature? What are some signs of male maturity?

There are lots of signs for maturity in a guy. Such as being able to assess how to act in a situation, being able to keep his cool when things get rough, is intellectual, ready for commitment, etc.
There are mature guys out there too, they may be hard to find, but they exist.

Those signs still work! I basically just repeated all of the mature factors my boyfriend has and he is 20 at the moment. I know finding mature guys at age 20 is certainly not easy but it is possible. My boyfriend is incredibly mature of his age, so that list still works :p

A man is mature when he takes up his responsibilities either in his life or towards you, then he understands you instead of fighting over small things in life, then he will appreciate you when you do something good. This is maturity. When he does not take you for granted and instead have consideration towards you too.
