Can Man Survive Without Hope?

Sometimes we don't call that 'hope'. We call it DESIRE.

I don't believe in hope too much. I think man can't live without happiness. For example, a poor man, he can live because he has a happy family. When we look at the a rich person, nobody can ensure he can live because he always thinks everyone fools him. He always thinks he live in trick live. It's very poor

hi preet for me hope only surface when we have some "desire" or when our life is not "satisfying" ... otherwise i dont have to have "hope" .. when i was young .. i hoped to get good grades in my exams when i was teenager .. i hoped i was beautiful and attractive when i started work .. i hoped to find a good man when i found the good man ... i hoped to be married now when i am married ... i hope for a child if and when i have a child ... i will hope for good health and wellbeing of my child and it goes on an on ... .. as even God hopes that we (his children) will be better human and love each other

Certainly we can survive without hope for a few minutes....but within a long period of time it will get more and more difficult to do. Without hope we live life in despair, only expecting the worst things to happen, becoming a full time pessimist. Within time, you will no longer want to survive, feel no need to eat, and get up in the morning. That is what will kill you - lack of food, water, and exercise.

hi there. hope is what we live for. hope to accomplish our task in our everyday life. living without hope, is like a deadman walking into nothingness. i think that's how i understood u about being perished. :)

no, i don't think that anybody can live without hope, because hope is something that no one can take away from you and you have it till you die. without hope you can't do anything in your life you will be sad and sad every time so hope is very important in life.
