Ewwww, if your itching all over does that mean you have cooties???
Just teasing, I am not allergic to it. My daughter in law is allergic to fish, but she can eat tuna fish. Gee whiz, thats not good to be allergic to something you like to eat. But then we can develop allergies at any time in our lives.

One of these days I will surprise you and join facebook, just haven't had the time to join yet. As or my date, he is a nice guy, he isn't ugly. But gee whiz, he is shorter then I am. By several inches. I am close to 6ft. tall and he is around 5'5". There isn't anyting wrong with short guys, but I would like to be able to at least be close to the same height. We are going to an art fair in Bowling Green, Ohio, thats were he lives, its about 1/2 hour from here. I wish you a nice weekend Marcie, enjoy the weather now, we know what comes after tis.

That's odd! As you eat different types of fish, keep a journal of which ones make you itch, and which don't. Perhaps it's just tuna? Good thing it's not chocolate, huh? Take an antihistamine like Benedryl...it should get rid of the itch for you.

When I was young and came home covered in mosquito bites, my mother put baking soda into my bath water. It seemed to help. Hope you're able to sleep. If you get a severe reaction and your tongue starts swelling, go to the ER as quickly as possible.

Thanks for your advice, I don't have that problem anymore, but I don't think I will eat anymore Tuna Fish. I know my Sister is alergic to fish. And I think I am too now.

I don't think so, but then again I mostly eat sardines and salmon. we used to eat out for seafood buffet but we are in tight budget for 3 years now I prefer to cook at home than eat out until our budget is a bit loose.

I am personally not allergic to fish but I know a lot of people are. It is quite a common allergy though I can't say I have ever known anyone to get itchy afte eating it, more like a rash and sickness! You need to get it checked out though hun X

ya you probably are allergic to fish. i'm not thank goodness. i love fish its one of the main meats i eat. my moms allergic to shell fish like lobster and crab stuff like that cause of the iodine. your lucky that you only get itchy my moms throat swells shut.

No, as far as I know I am not alergic to fish. I have not had any fish for awhile but when I did before I did not itch or get sick from eating the fish.

I'm not allergic to fish but I have a friend that is also allergic to fish but not just in fish but also in chicken and egg. She said that she is allergic in anything that is like fishy odor. Every time that she eat those foods automatic she will have a red spots all over her body and she will have a swollen face the next day so she can only eat vegetables. She also cannot eat other type of sea food like shrimps and crabs.
