OK. I'm the kind of guy that tries quite hard to support and bolster the confidence of the women in my life. But today......... The Boss had her hair cut and I, on seeing it uttered those inexcusable words "I thought that you were getting your hair cut?" Needless to say the atmosphere was a tad frosty after that. We have made up and I took her out this afternoon. But I can't get over my crassness. I need to make amends. So ladies, how should I be punished?

better start a several week course in "COMPLIMENTS", ask the "did you lose weight???" question, and also ask if she had a bit of work done, since she looks so youthful now :)
sucking up isn't fun, but necessary at times. happy brown nosing!

What's wrong with that? If I get my hair cut, there's no mistaking it. What's the point of getting your hair cut or even trimmed if the change is unnoticeable?...that seems weird to me ....especially with what they charge these days. And if I was ok with it and my partner said what you did, I wouldn't get frosty, that's a bit silly to me too...with apologies to the boss.
So you wouldn't get punishment my friend, I would convince you it was different and that for one night at least you could imagine you were sleeping with a different woman.

Oh, I dunno Pikey... what about a bunch of long-stemmed roses, a diamond ring, and a weekend in a luxury hotel in Paris? I am kidding, of course... but if you have already made up and kissed or the other way round, why do you still want to be punished?
Cheers and happy Mylotting

I definitely think you should put on some knee pads and grovel for the rest of the day. What you did is almost as bad as asking which strand of hair she had trimmed (while inspecting through a magnifying glass...). You boss should have a ping pong paddle handy (or you can carry it), and use it liberally. Just in case you seem to be enjoying yourself too much, she also ought to march you past your favorite pub a few times

I think you should shave off all your hair-everywhere-as atonement for your sin!
Actually, if it made so little difference that you didn't notice I don't see why she would be ticked off. But she felt different with the haircut so expected you to notice. Poor Boss!

I can't stand all these long drawn out punishments. They are a hard to keep up for the person imposing the punishment as they are for the punishee. I suggest a dozen with the cane across the bare buttocks nice and hard. That would relieve tension in the punisher and the punishee will remmber it for some time

Grandpa-lash Sir,
I of course respect your opinion but if I may point out while the offence was quite mild the remark was rather crass and stupid and I think it is important that lowly subs like pike and me need to learn not to make such silly comments and to learn it quickly and well so the punishment should not be something quickly forgotten but something you will remember for a long time.

Poor Pike, be thankful the Boss isn't Maid - or me, for that matter lol. Although I do think a dozen is a bit severe for a relatively mild transgression.

If you guys already made up, why are you still punishing yourself.I guess you are just a real sensitive sweetheart to care so much about other's feelings. If you really do want to make amends compliment her on how all her hairstyles she wears does beautifully suit her.

oh oh bad pikey my goodness no wonder she got frosty.you Are'suppoosed to say oh you look gorgeous. well lets see twenty lashes with'a wet'noodle ought to satisfy the Boss. he he I would love to have'seen the looks on her face when you said that to her. myhusband did that to me once too, and boy was I irritated. I said, I did have my hair cut I just didnt want to look like a boy. He frowned then said oh yeah I think it looks great so there.well I had to accept the apology then we went for one of his famous drives.we would get in a car and drive out of Phoenix and just go in some unknown places, and see things we hadnt known were there. we found a farmers market and back then things were so cheap and we bought a pickup load of fresh veggies plus an armful of Stock the prettiest and most sweet smelling flowers you can get.So he didnt get twenty lashes with a wet noodle.

Taking her out to lunch should have been enough she did not sack you.I think you got away with it.A bow and scrap might help, make the coffee, wash up the cups ect for about six months and swear allegence to her forever, thats what I would do to you anyway.

I would say for the rest of your life you better notice every little detail and compliment her on "new" whatever she has. LOL
Some women just really make me laugh. I have long hair so a hair cut means four inches or more on me and I wouldn't expect anyone to notice because my hair is so long. If you only get an inch or so cut, it's not a haircut, it's a trim. So, how bad were you?

LOL. Oh my! No wonder you didn't notice the difference. LOL That's too cute.
Thinning is not something you are supposed to really notice, unless she had a horribly bushy head of hair. I am glad all is well on the homefront. You should still compliment every little detail for awhile just to stay out of the dog house.

Hi Alice!
You know how they say men are from mars? Remember it's really TRUE! LOL I'm sure your hair looks great and that's all he notices. If it changes just a little he won't notice that because you still look good! If it's a big difference and he doesn't notice they make some great heavy skillets that really pack a punch. LOL

Well my guess is that she won't have you in the doghouse for long! LOL! I remember my hubby saying the exact same thing years ago. I just shook it off, to me it wasn't a big deal...that's just how men are (hehe). But if you think you need to smooth things over, surprise her with a bouquet of flowers! Good luck!

Hello
I don't think you should be punished, what you should do is say something like I keep looking at your hair it looks really nice, you know me takes me a minute lol, that will make her feel good every now and then touch it this way she will know your are sincere that is it, you will be forever on her good side, how come you didn't notice the cut, did she not have them take much off?
Thank you, you will be fine I am sure.
