Did you just see that?!

I'm no fan of Taylor Swift, but that was just wrong. What a jerk! There are so many artists that deserve that award just the same, but you don't see them jumping up and looking like a fool. What a jerk! Back when Kanye West started up his music, I was a huge fan. Now I appreciate some of his music, but he has pulled more than one stunt like that, which convinced me what a conceited jerk he really is. Not much of a respectful artist to others, just to himself.

I really don't understand the appeal of Taylor Swift's music, She is an above average singer but her songs are nothing great. Beyonce on the other hand is a brilliant artist.

Not a huge Kanye fan. That was so lame and tacky but what's even worse is that he's making a huge public spectacle of this MULTIPLE apologies so he can get even more attention from the incident. He is such an egotistical narcissist.

OMG I did NOT watch them but this sounds like something Kanye would do. He's known for being a pretentious, arrogant jerk. I think security should have tackled and restrained him at that point. He had no right doing such a thing. He thinks he can get away with it becuase he's a famous rapper..but jeez. What a horrible thing to do. If I was Taylor Swift I would be throwing punches not sitting there and taking it (LOL but she's probably a little more modest than me.) Kanye's opinion..Who cares what Kanye's opinion is?! Ugh! People win for a reason - usually because the majority of people vote for that particular person/song; award shows are not based on his narrow-minded opinion. Another thing - I think Kanye is a little racist in a way, or at least discriminatory. I just get that kind of "vibe" from him. I can't explain it, though, sorry. lol. And I don't know what not-liking Taylor Swift's music has to do with anything.. I don't think you started this discussion so people can criticize her music. . I'm not too big of a fan of hers, but I would side with her ANY day over Kanye. He's just out of line.

Kanye is full of crap, his ego is going dent his career. At first I thought he just wanted the attention but now I know he's the king of jerks!!! But I'm happy Beyonce stepped in and allowed her to have her moment even though it'll be a moment she'll never forget.

Wow, I watched the clip on Youtube this morning, and I have to say I was absolutely gobsmacked that he could be so petty and rude on national television. I'm happy Beyonce came through for Taylor in the end -- she's obviously a woman of great class and poise, unlike Mr. West.

I did not watch the VMA's but I read about what happened on the interent. So I watched the video clip. Kanye West is just a rude person. No class at all.

Kanye West is not a good person and not acting like a professional.He should not do that,i feel terrible for Taylor Swift.I think Kanye West is so immature and he should be ashame for doing that to a young teenager which is half his age.

I missed it but heard about it. I will watch the repeat. I never liked Kanye West and now after that he is a total disgrace as far as I'm concerned. He is so rude and arrogant, I really can't stand him. What I don't understand is what people think he is so great. I don't see it.

I did not see it, I read it via the internet though. To say the least, I was shocked with Kanye's uncivilized behavior. For him to have done that, he must have been under the influence. But way to go to ruin Taylor's first VMA! of course, Taylor and Beyonce are not of the same category but even Beyonce did not felt too bad about it, and so why would he be so irate? I am not a fan of Taylor but surely doing something like that ain't cool either!

i am not a taylor swift fan and i love kanye's music but what he did was immature and mean and disrespectful. i think beyonce's videos are good too but that does not mean kanye could just do that.

I didn't respect him before that *shrug* but isn't it amazing how a 32 year old man can be less mature than a (...what is she, 17?) 17-year-old kid? A kid half his age? I don't get the appeal of Taylor Swift. In my opinion, her voice is annoying and her lyrics have no staying power. She, or at least the songs she's performing now, will be forgotten in ten years. But that doesn't excuse his behavior. And what about Beyonce? I thought she was more mature than to approve of someone behaving like that "on her behalf."
