I do not think so.There are many more home grown terrorists in India who are constantly helping those terrorists that are operating from elsewhere.I personally feel that Pakistan is the breeding ground for most terrorists and terrorist activities and as long as the Us is giving financial aid and pampering them they will never be able to reduce terrorism...

In a word No.We have wasted lives over this. There are governments that support terrorists and there is nothing we can do until those governments do something about those do support this.

I do not believe it has. There is still terrorism and people are still in fear. I personnally believe that invading Iraq was a big if not one of the biggest mistakes ever. Lives lost, and our money wasted all for what? Terrorism? or OIL? or weapons of Mass distruction which were never found.

no not at all. In fact I have seen a global rise in terrorism after the US started showing more than a passing interest in Iraq and Afghanistan. The world has always been polarized on many issues but now its practically becoming very dangerous to be an ally of the US for any reason whatsoever. A country might support the US on an issue totally unrelated to terrorism, but just because its supporting the US, it comes on the list of terrorist attacks.

Yes.. It has reduced the act of terrorism only towards America... Since the attacks, there was no acts of terror in America... But at other regions the terror acts continue unless they attack the terrorists..

not likely. you break up one group, another will just pop up. only thing that'll truly stop it is giving people a reason to stop doing it..if that's possible.

Hi Ganesh, I don't really think that it has, nor will more fighting help. It appears to me that more and more the Iraqi and Afghan peoples are becoming upset by what the Americans and their allies are doing there. We cannot impose our will on other people without their consent and many people are angered by the number of civilian casualties. There are ways that we in the western world can help but they are through peaceful means. We must do everything that we can to stop terrorism but I don't believe that it is achievable through war in either of these countries. Blessings.

I think it has for the Americans. I am a big supporter of our troops, I might not agree with the wars, but I support our troops one hundred percent. And there hasn't been another terror attack against the United States so something is working.

No, I don't think it has reduced the terrorism at all. Have you seen the movie Newyork? if not, then please do watch this movie. This will tell you that terro has not been reduced but it has been increased!

The answer is obviously no. Terrorism is a kind of thought, not a group.
