Hi dr_ankita. this area is famous for the beauty of the sunsets as it always appears to set into the sea with pink sky surrounding it. It's nice to sit out on the balcony overlooking the sea and watch it in the evenings. On the bad side it's horrible to be driving along the mountain road just before it sets as the glare is really strong until it actually sets.

Yes, the glare from the sun as it sets can be horrible. I regularly have to drive my scooter when the setting sun's glare is the worst. That is part of the reason I prefer the sun rise. I never have to drive during that time of day.

I like the sunsets, specially if the sun sets in the sea. AS for sunrises, I must confess that I stay up late and I sleep late so I don´t have the posibility of looking at sunrises often.
When I´m in vacation, I can´t get enough of the sunsets. And now, with the digital cameras, you can take loads of pictures while the sun is sinking and the sky changes colours.

It actually depends a lot on the place from where you are watching it, both are equally beautiful phenomenon, but most people including me are able to appreciate sunset more as its visible for more time , so you get more time to see and appreciate its beauty, whereas if you have ever seen a sun rise from an ocean then you know what i am talking about, also why most people like sunset is because what follows is a very interesting light show in the sky where you see all different shades and hues on the clouds and the sky, it can be really interesting, while in the sunrise what usually comes is the hot sun, from which you have to run to a shade.
cheers

I have got to say that I prefer the sunrise. I really like to see how pitch dark can suddenly start fading away into that morning light that marks the begging of our days. Sunsets aren't so special, unless you're a romantic person that is into watching them everyday with your partner or whatever.

I also love the fabulous sunset .To view it at Kanyakumari it is really breathtaking .We would be just transferred to a fanatasy world .How wonderful is the Almighty,s creation.Nothing can be a prallel to this scene. We should thank God for this fantastic scene and above all we must thank for our eyesight to be able to view and admire.

I prefer the sunrise. Yeah, the sunset is usually prettier, but I am a morning person and I like to see the start of a new day. I still like sunsets, too, especially beach ones. They are about the only thing I like about the beach. I hope to enjoy one everyday next week when I am camping overlooking the beach in California.

I guess sunset is prettier to watch than sunrise. As you see the end of the day fade... Sun rise is not bad at all. Though i hink i won't make it as i always wake up late in the morning.
