hi msedge. i think summer is a lot different here. all we have here is the hot sunny summer with some rainy days. so summer out here is some kinda not felt although days are hotter than the previous summers. well, the most common ways of experiencing summer here is going to the beach. we have a lot of beaches all over the province. practically, Cebu is surrounded by waters, so the place is hot but water is all over. from north to south and east to west.

Cebu is beautiful. My husband and I went there a few years ago. We loved it. We went to the huge mall to shop for everyone. We did lots of "street" shopping too for everyone. The hotel we stayed at was really nice and they had animals all around the place. It was so nice and we would love to go back again.

hello dear, it's been awhile since I've seen you. I'm glad you had a wonderful summer. I have been taking care of family. I went to Canada to spend a couple of weeks with my hubby and we went to meet up with Sparks and her hubby for the weekend. We had a wonderful time. I suggest that anyone that can meet up with them that you do so. If your schedules can meet up, lol. After a few months of planning it all came together.

Money was very tight for my husband and I, so we did not go anywhere this summer. We are thinking of taking a mid-winter vacation, possibly in Montreal Quebec. We already live in Canada, so we won't have to leave the country to get there.

My summer was in January as I live in South America. I was invited to the most awesome trip. My friends have a yatch (they bought it with other friends and they share) And the boat was getting fixed at Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. So I bought my airfare (I´m still paying it) and at Cartagena we spent 3 days at the shipyard while they checked the boat. We were 2 couples (my friends and my friends cousin with his wife), Ariel (my friend´s 12 year old gradson and I.The maen spent the day in the shipyard, we went sightseeing. They we started our trip. We were going to the San Blas Islands in Panama (the real native name is Kunayala). It was incredible. I felt at one time as if I had gone back in time, before Columbus came. We spent about 2 weeks there with lots of stories to tell later and then left the sailboat in Colon, Panamá. We then went to see the Canal de Panama and the Ciudad Vieja at Panama City. I t was well worth it and I discovered that I´m not THAT old. I did it. I posted a picture that includes two sailors from Panama that helped us park the yatchas we had a motor problem the last day.

Summer of 2009, we went to seven churches from Manila to Manaoag in just one day as part of the Holy Week task. In the weeks that follow, we went swimming in two beach resorts. A week prior to school opening, we stayed at one of the 5-star hotels to cool off from the summer heat. For days in between travel, we just stayed at home, watched television and played computer games.
