Do you believe that the end of the world is getting near?

The world may come to an end one day because of unexpected power from the outer space. Even it won't happen, Human beings will drive themself to a end. We are already can't hold our steps, We can say that we are developing, but the truth is we are wasting and destroying.

Every beginning should ultimately have an end eventhough we may not consider the religious aspects but think practically the population of the world is increasing at an alarming rate and the land is less.The food production is also reduced.People are cutting down forests and are exploring deep parts of the forests and we are discovering new diseases.In the past years the attack of a new virus is not that fast but now we had aids and now its the turn of swineflu. The next thing is the lack of water already in India states are fighting over the right of river waters.Its very sad and rains had become less frequent.Natural resources are dwindling.The next important thing and the thing thats inevitable is the lifespan of Sun.Ofcourse there is a lot of time for that but its inevitable. Scientists also believe that there is a chance of another iceage.. We,humans cant possibly stay forever right.. If we start endangering all the other life forms on this planet then nature finds a way to stop us and if thats not possible eliminate us.Dinosaurs are far more stronger than humans and powerful as well and nature found a way to eliminate them because as long as dinosaurs exists all the other living creatures are endangered.That is the way of nature.We need to learn to coexist with other life forms....

We don’t know when it the end of the world. Only God knows when, it maybe tomorrow or today or in other year, we never know. I don’t believe it is near , but what I believe it can happen anytime anywhere. Only God knows when. So I think now is the time to change, every minute is important. We can’t say we can have enough time because we don’t know what will happen after, all we can consider is we still have time to change what we have to change. That is why I am giving my time for my family. I do what I have to do now. Although we don’t know what will happen after the end of the world, atleast we experience happiness while we are still leaving in this world.

Hello, Yes definitely, I think that the end of the world is quite near. But don't believe anyone when they know the actual date of the end of the world, they don't know it. I believe in the world will come to an end but I don't believe it will happen in 2012 as others are predicting. If it's rupture they are waiting they would believe it. I believe too that the end is already beginning. There is already scarcity in things from scarce safe drinking water to not enough food for everyone. People are more impersonal and more greedy. The land for food and housing is getting smaller. Oceans are rising and it's getting hotter. Wars are everywhere, cold war or real fighting. These I believe are just the signs of the end of the world and humanity.

if there s a beginning then there should definitely be an end...so the end is for sure but dono when ll it happen.. don believe in prophesies or even scientists... first ask these people to tel wen world began before they could predict the end....if they don hav work means they should not earn by false rumors or false prophesies....do u remember that these same idiots said that world wound end on 31-12-2000... its was tel years ago.. i am still living ,we are still living.. wat it proves.. believe in facts not prophesies.....

I don't really think so but, I am fascinated by all the different prophecies set forth by many people hundreds and thousands of years ago. I've always been interested in this stuff. And of course now many people have been studying the Mayan writings. It is an interesting subject. I guess we will all find out what happens at some point.

IF one thinks that end of the world is getting near, then it will be so.. haha =D If i'm not thinking in that way, then it wont happen to me.. lol =D IF the world is meant to end before our life journey ends, then there's nothing much we can do.. Just accept whichever fate u believe in.. haha =D So instead of living constantly in fear, why not live our lives happily?? THinking of those useless things, will it be able to change the fate of the world?? haha =D

The end of the world may or may not be near for everyone but it is always near to each one of us. At any moment the world could end for you or me. Accidents, disease, crime or weather can all be the beginning of the end for one or all. Will it be in 2012? Who knows, the bible says no one knows then end of time except God. Of course it also says that you must always be ready because in a time when you least expect it Jesus will return. It is probably a good idea to be ready no matter whether you believe in a religion or not.

Not really. I do think we are in for a disaster. A really big one. The world is now worse than when it was in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah and its not getting better. So obviously God will do something. As a priest told me once - if you are right with God what have you got to worry about ? Tht's true, isn't it. And with my tongue in my cheek I might ask - if the world does end where are you planning to go to ?

The end of the world? No. The end of the human race? Maybe. We are exponentially growing as a species. With any living population, once it goes over capacity, things start to happen to bring the population size back into balance. Disease, famine, war...these are some of the things that increase along with the population. The end of the human race is coming; however, I don't think we will see it in our lifetime.

no i dont think that the end of world is getting near . nothing is going to happen . its all the rediculous things been said about it . we are sophisticated and well advanced all these crap things wouldn't be paid attention. ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE ALL .

Hello friend. I don't believe that the world will come to an end. It seems to be quite impossible to me. Everything is so nice and fine. There is no reason for me to think that it will end some day so soon. I still believe that the world will last a long long time. I am not worried about it at all.

Of course the world, as we know it, will end at some point. But no one can accurately predict when. People tend to weave current events into the prophesies to suit the times. If you follow the bible, then only the Almighty knows when it will happen, not soothsayers or crystal balls. The end has been predicted many, many times in the past but nothing happened. I believe we should always live our lives as though the end is upon us and maybe we would all be kinder and more empathetic toward one another.

No I don't believe on that. The world will never end only life on earth will come to an end. That's why we must do good while living in this world.

I think the end could be at any time. People have talked about it for years and years but I dont think anyone knows for sure. Only maybe god knows for sure.

Beginning and ending is part and parcel of life. everything ends to begin and vice versa. Life is a cycle and it is really difficult to mark the beginning and the ending. I see life as an ongoing process and love to enjoy to live every moment of my life without thinking of the beginning and the ending.
