I do, it started when I was about three years old and I witnessed someone got stabbed in front of me, there is so much blood. From then on, whenever I see blood I feel fuzzy and fainting. There was this one time, my mom accidentally injured her hand by a broken glass I saw it and I fainted. But, since I work in a medical field and got to see blood everyday. My phobia for blood is not that worse anymore. I don't feel like fainting, I just need candy sometimes to divert my attention. I'm getting used to it now. How about you?

I'm a medical student and I appear to have a problem with being around blood. I don't faint everytime, but it's happened more times than I'd like or that general feeling of woosiness. I really want to sort it out but want to do it myself, not go to a therapist. Does anyone have any tips?

your experienced was so terrible, seeing someone being stabbed in front of you makes you traumatized about it. i'm afraid of blood too though i don't have an experience like yours, and i wish it wouldn't happen to me. i could faint if i see a lot of blood from other people. that is tough,so that is the reason maybe i couldn't be a doctor.

If you really want to be a doctor, you'll get used to it. I'm a nurse so I need to overcome my fear. Though I tend to feel fuzzy when around blood so needed candy to divert my attention. Thank you! Happy Mylotting!

Blood doesn't bother me and I'm glad for it. As many time as I've had to put on a band-aid or run a child to the emergency room, I am thankful of that.
I can understand your earlier fears. Three year old witnessing a stabbing would be very tramatic I'd think. I'm glad you've over come your fears and that your field is one that helps people.

There's a fiesta in our town, lot's of people maybe they quarreled and got carried away. I was looking for my mom and our house is just near the street so I'm not afraid to look for her. But then, it shocked me when I saw the incident. Well, it's forgotten now :)
