Best way to study for tests?

What do you think is the best way to study for tests/quizzes?
I usually just look over the material again, does anyone do something unique that really helps em remember stuff?

I think it's different for everyone depending on how they absorb/learn stuff. For me, only thing I ever did was just skim through the stuff the night before. When I went through the academy, some of those people would study for days/hours on end, have study groups, and they'd only end up with a point or two more then me lol, they'd get soooo mad :)

Thanks for your response! Thats pretty much all I do, and I do know people who have study sessions and mad studying.. I'm just wondering what they do during those study sessions!
