Do they really work? Or is it a placebo and they trick you into exercising anyway.

two different types of diet pills that I have tried that worked for me where hydroxycut, and NV. Hydroxycut worked better, but it took about five weeks of using them before they started to work, and I ended up getting very moody from them, like having a very short temper, and getting annoyed at the slightest thing, it was like PMS 24/7. But in 4 months I lost 20-30 pounds without doing any extra exercise. or changing my diet (I ate whatever I wanted). The NV ones worked ok. Not as well as hydroxycut, I only lost 5 pounds after taking them for a month, but I didn't have any mood swings or anything, and you only have to take 2 pills a day instead of 6 pills a day with the hydroxycut.

Just remember that these pills are not regulated by the FDA...which means the companies can put whatever they want in them and they r not required to put all of the ingredients on their labels! Yikes. I once had a professor that was doing research on unregulated herbal remedies, diet pills and other things of the such and he had first had experience how uncaring these companies are. So just be careful!

I doubt that, they are probably a stimulant (amphetamines) but a more milkd/natural version like guarana and such.
No idea though, check the side for the ingredients.

I dont think they work by themselves, and I think most of them say something like 'works in conjuction with a calorie controlled diet and exercise plan'.
A lot of them just suppress the appetite so you don't feel as hungry, but I haven't really tried any so can't say for sure :)
