Do you ever watch horror movies late at night when you're alone?
i always loved horror movies, whether i watched it alone or with friends or family, doesn't matter, i enjoyed it... but mostly i watched them alone because the people here at home got scared a lot, and afraid to go to their rooms after watching it...
but sometimes, i imagine things that are from the movie are staring at me. hehehe

My television spends pretty much the entire month of October tuned to the Sci Fi channel just so I can watch horror movies all day long. I prefer to watch with other people, but when you're a horror fan, sometimes it just doesn't work out.
I actually think I get more scared when I feed off other people's energy while watching a horror flick than when I'm just alone and watching. And, you know, for the longest time I thought I hated watching scary movies because I didn't like them when I was a kid, now though, I love it. I realized one day when I'd watched all the Amnityville movies back to back in like one day that I was a goner!

Well the opposite is true for me. I used to love horror movies when I was a kid, in fact I was mostly interested in horror films than love story back when girls my age would love watching romantic films. Now that I'm older, I don't like watching them anymore, it's like no scary films scare me anymore, I find them boring and corny save for some that are really, really good.

Most of the time when I watch a scary movie it's after dark. I don't know why but I think it makes it better. Most of the time I watch them by myself, the only time watching a scary movie bothers me is if its one that could really happen in real life. I watched the old version of When a stranger calls by myself and when it was over I ran and jumped in bed, after I got in bed I kept thinking about the part in the movie were killer was hiding under the covers when the women got in the bed, to start with she thought it was her husband that was under the covers. It took a long time for me to go to sleep that night.

Hats off to yoU! :) you're very brave! I can hardly watch horror movies.. watching them alone might give me a heart attack especially if I watch it at night. Usually, I ask my friend to sleep over in our house if and when I get curious about a specific horror film. By the way, have you seen "Jennifer's Body" yet? I just saw the trailer on youtube and I'm not sure if it's been released (release of movies are usually late here in the Philippines.. )

Yeah I watch horror movies alone when I have no one to watch with me. And it always has to be after midnight and with the lights out:)

Honestly, I don't like watching horror movies, especially watching them alone. I think it doesn't make sense to scare myself with Horror movies. But recently, I have been watch a TV seriese called Surpernatural and I think it is fascinating. I watch the TV seriese alone very late at night, so that when I go to the bathroom, I do feel there is something staring at me.

I loved horror movies when I was younger, I sometimes do "marathon" watching 2-4 horror flicks in one day, I like getting scared and sometime screaming while watching either with friends or alone. But that was before, now it seems I've lost my appetite for scary films, they don't excite me anymore, and save for some Asian horror films that are really really scary (Japanese and Korean mostly), they don't have the same effect on me anymore.

I love watching horror movies, however when I am alone watching one it just intensifies the horror and is much more enjoyable to watch. I love watching all movies alone, I really do not know why this is but I just ten to enjoy them much more alone than with other people present.

Yes!! lol. sometimes I have to watch horror movies alone because I work nights--and when I'm awake everyone else is asleep :P So if there is a scary movie to be watched...I've gotta do it alone! lol.
But I do always have my dogs or/and cats around me, and I cuddle with a pillow and hide under a blanket lol. But first I always make sure all the window and door blinds are shut tight! lol

I am really afraid to watch horror movies be it any time of the day. And watching horror movies late at night is out of question. Even if the room is full of people I do not have the courage to watch a horror film. I think you have a lot of courage to watch them that too all alone.
