English is not an easy language to master but it is easy to have a good basic of it. Read more books which you are interested in and find the meanings for words u havent heard before. Practise talking in english whenever you can and in no time, u will improve it.

I relate to how you are feeling to a certain extent because I learnt English when I was around ten years old when my family moved from Italy to Australia. I remember feeling quite depressed because I couldn’t understand the language and because I was in a normal English speaking class I found it particularly difficult. I learnt English quite easily because I was a kid and everything is always a lot easier when you are young! ritika, the next best thing to learning from software packages and newspaper reading is to make friends who speak English well. Another option would be to join yahoo mesenger, where you could begin chatting with others who are fluent in English and learn from them. Spell-check is always there to check on the spelling. Sometimes, there is a blue underscore if the sentence structure is inappropriate.I can help you but I do not know how. But so far, as I can read, your English is very good indeed!

I´m a language teacher, and I learned altogether 3 foreign languages. I don´t tell you that to sound off, but to give you a hopefully good advice: read books. English, for example, I learned basically in England, but when you talk to people (or chat), you use only a limited number of words or vocabulary. Books, on the other hand, must, by their nature, employ a far more extensive vocabulary. I just read and read, and by the way, it teaches you at the same time correct writing and spelling. there is currently no software that i know available that could produce well written and translated articles the best they can do is translate it from a dictionary database and those translations always end up looking wierd.

Hi,I come from China,English is also my second language.I sdudied English for 2 years.I think the best way to sdudy English is read and write as mare as posible.mylot is a good place for us to sdudy English.If we can pend 1 or 2 hours on mylot to read and write,our English skill will getting to a good level.
