What's weird about the sequel is that it's supposed to be released October 30 (which is a Friday so that makes me wonder if they rethought the original straight to DVD plan) but IMDb is the only site with any information on it. Netflix says "Unknown" under the Availability heading, Rotten Tomatoes has nothing. Amazon has nothing but they wouldn't yet if it's going to be theatrical first.
Sean Patrick Flanery is endorsing it big time so it may not be as frightening an idea as I had originally thought.

Guess I should have watched the trailer.... Yes, they did rethink the straight to DVD plan and decided to release it theatrically. Everyone who loves the Saints needs to make it worth their while and go go go!

I saw the Tyler Perry movie over the weekend. Pretty good. I do like his movies a lot. But the last movie I watched was 12 rounds. I liked the concept and also that John Cena is pretty hot. But I fell asleep on it so now I don't know how it ends. I have to take the movie back to the store tonight. LOL
But from what I saw of it, I give it about a 7.

It's a fairly new release. Maybe it's been out about 2 or 3 weeks now. It wasn't bad for wrestler wanting to be an actor. LOL

I watched Ghost of Girlfriend Past. Downloaded it cause I want light movies. It eventually too light for me cause I think it's a complete nonsense and cliche from beginning to end. I rate it 4 out of 10

I haven't seen that one because I personally don't like chick flicks, but I just saw Halloween (2007) last night. It was GREAT! I love a good horror story. And I watched A Huanting in Connecticut, which I found out wasn't true at all. That's sucks because I enjoy "based on a true story" movies. Maybe I'll check out Accidental Husband...

I saw A Haunting In Connecticut yesterday and I knew it wasn't actually based on any true story. But I loved the horror bit but it was a little bit cheesy at times especially the part about how the boy was totally cured of cancer. I didn't know ghosts or spirits or whatever it was has the power to cure cancer. It was a little ridiculous.

lol. That's true. Anytime a movie says "based on a true story" I go and investigate. I want to know if it's really true and from what I found out...it wasn't. It was another Amityville thing with the Warrens. And you're right...I didn't know that ghosts/spirits had that much power except from God.

I saw 9 last weekend and out of 10 I give it an 8.5. My biggest complaint was that it was too short and didn't go deep enough into the backstory. Otherwise terrific!

I saw An Accidental Husband a few months ago and thought that Uma Thurman was a little too beautiful for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and I don't see the chemistry between them. Anyhow, it was not the typical chick flick where there are scenes where the characters expose their vulnerable selves. I prefer Sandra Bullock's The Proposal. This chick flick at least is more profound and the characters are less two-dimensional than the characters in An Accidental Husband. I would give The Proposal an 8 out of 10 and An Accidental Husband just a 3 out of 10.
