For me I use to think life was a t.v show and whenever I went to the bathroom we were on commercial, for a long time I always felt people were watching me, not sure when I got pass this phase but I must admit I am glad I did lol I had this friend her name was bannoe, (imaginary of course) well we talked about everything and to me she was really there, anyway one day I had to use the bathroom really bad, but she was on the toilet, I was jumping up and down almost wet myself, it was then that I realized something was wrong with this picture, so I said goodbye to her and hello to my sanity lol My mom use to wash the dishes in really hot water, so I said to myself when I can do this I will be grown, so one day I tried it and burned the heck out of myself, my mom told me she had arthritis and did not feel how hot the water was, duh I can't remember how old I was but I was chasing my cousin across the street and a car hit me, I got up and ran home out of fear I would get in trouble, I did not feel pain till after the fact but hey I was young and did not want to get in trouble for running in the street, the car did not stop by the way, I went up in the air and down to the ground jumped up and ran, I did not tell my mom someone else told her. O.K so there you have it, now its your turn, share some of your stories with me and others, I am sure we all have something to share, come on? may not be as silly as mine or could be worse I would like to know, will you share with me?

This wasn't so much me as my brothers, but they used to play "three ducks up". They'd take the duck up to the roof and toss him down and who ever caught him three times, got to be it.

Someone told me that put my own poop into my mouth when I was still a toddler. I don't know if it's true or he's just bluffing. But I do think it's silly and it gave me goosebumps thinking how gross that is.

yes it was good that you just reminded your daughter of the danger of starting fire. i know that children are so curious. i could not imagine what could have happened if the house burned. how it will changed my life. i could be hated by my parents so much until now if that had happened. anyways, i remember one time too throwing a transparent glass . i wondered what will happen to the glass if i throw it on the street. and guess what it surprised one passer-by and was told to not do it again.

Hello Wow, that was great that they said something too you, some people would walk by like its nothing you were so bad lol My daughter was truly scared and when things like this happen spanking is not always the answer, now if she acted like it was nothing and tried to lie and say it was not her then maybe I would have popped her on the butt, but that was not the case, you have to know how and when to do certain things when it comes to children, after all we were all kids once so we know how curiosity can get the better of us sometimes. Thank you so much.

Hello my friend My daughter lit a match and threw it in the garbage when I smelled something burning I went running the look on her face was enough that I just talked to her and explained how dangerous fires can be, she was so scared, it never happened again good thing I was able to pour water on it and put it out quick, kids do the craziest things, people said I should have spanked her there was no need she was really scared and I will always remember that look. Thank you for sharing.

Hey there! When I was a kid, I used to watch old black and white TV shows. I always wondered why they were in black and white but I never asked my parents or anyone older. So what happened was, I assumed that everything in the world in the past was in black and white! When I got older of course, I learned that it was the cameras they used. People still laugh at me when I tell them that this was how I thought when I was younger hahaha

Dear Kitty, Since I am the youngest in my family, I was always alone at home. My granny will be busy doing her own things! I will sleep in the dry and clean drain outside the house. Looking and admiring the clouds above. Imagining that the prince will ride on a white horse out from the clouds. I will be the princess that the prince looking for from the land far far away........ At times, this imagination will continue even when I am in the house having my tea! All this was when I am just 4-5 years old...LOL

Hahahah, There is one old saying :~ One should not sing while cooking in the kitchen! She may marry an old husband... (In actual fact, this is to discourage saliva enter the food while cooking, or may carried away and did not focus on cooking) I always like to sing while cooking, so......... my prince (not charming) is older than me by 18 years old! We have a son and the thing that we are grateful is God has bless us wiht many holidays and a study trip to Holy Land.. Cheers and take care :)

Oh my goodness! You are one lucky gal to be still sitting here right here and now!! My cousin was constantly getting hit by a car and for the life of me, I don't know how he survived each one but he did. I think it was somewhere around 3 or 4 times. Ok, here's my story, as you know, I'm hearing impaired or considered legally deaf. Well, when I was little, I'd get words all mixed up and pronounce them differently. Anyway, we had so many cats and dogs among so many other animals. One dog I thought it's name was Ham but it was actually something else,I can't remember what it was but it was so close to Ham. Well, one night my mom called us kids to dinner. I asked my mom what we were having as I was getting into my chair and she told me Ham. I was shocked and very upset and looked at the ham on the table and said, "Oh poooor Ham" and had such a sad look on my face. My parents were beside themselves because I thought they had killed our dog and we're eating him!! My brothers tried to explain but I just couldn't get it. So one of them took me outside and into the shed where Ham was being held because it was sick, I don't know with what but when I saw Ham, I ran to it and hugged it for all it was worth! Then I asked my brother, how can Ham be on the table and here too? LOL I just couldn't get it. I get it now.... lol

Every fall my dad your go around the house sealing the doors and windows. When I was little I remember asking him why he did it and he told me very seriously that he had to keep the drafts out. I don't know exactly what I thought a draft was but I was terrified of them getting in the house! I would help my dad winterize and I diligently replaced the draft stops whenever I opened a door. I guess I thought they were some kind of monster rather than puffs of cold air!

HI kitty, I have to think a lot to remeber those silly things. I have memory problem, can remember things for a long. It depends on my mood. Due to memory problme i put stuff in my hand anywhere;not in childhood but now too. We usually went to school by City transport bus.At our time school bags used to be very heavy so we kept our bag on roadside. One day i boarded bus without taking my bag ;after boarding i got that my bag is left behind.lol.. So, i step down from bus and again deborded bus again with bag. That was silliest moment for me because we always used to be in hurry while deboarding the bus. Have a nice day!! Cheers Ranvir

I was a goofy little kid! When I was toddler, I knew that flowers were pretty, and that flowers smelled good. So apparently I confused these ideas. Whenever my mom would say something like "Look at the pretty _____" I would smell it, no matter what it was. A pretty picture, some trinket, whatever. I am glad I finally figured out the distinction.

When I was a kid I was very excited to ride an airplane. I was so happy when my father told me that we were gonna be riding an airplane to our province. I always thought that I could meet God or even just see Him waiving at me in the clouds because I thought God's home was within the clouds and I was very sure that an airplane could get me there to see Him. The passengers around us laugh when I asked my mom where did exactly is God's house located and can the airplane stop there for a minute to visit Him.:)

Childhood is always good memories. When I was a child I use to always plan out how my life would turn out. I had plans, I always use to think that my plans will happen by itself. Now I am 16 years old and still wish the same. I've learned that you have to make things happen the way you want things to go. Just me thinking of my childhood I was a big dreamer. xD

hi kitty42 well this is fun. My silly doing was to take off across the neighbor's field in search of the big metal grain silo that I'd heard someone tell my dad the farmer and his family lived in it. so off I and my dog went, my mom did not know we had taken off. midway across the field ,now i was probably about nine , I met what I thought was a bull, really it was just an old overweight cow, with one horn, and I was petrified. my dog barked and barked and the farmer heard and came down, he rescued me from the bored old cow, and when he heard that I wanted to see the silo that they lived in,he laughed and laughed.then he took me to their house behind the grain silo. she the wife gave me cookies and milk. when i got home via my neighbor farmers car, my mom was frantic and told me just wait til your father gets home. well she hung a razor strop on the bedroom door i guess to scare me. but when my dad got home and heard how i just wanted to see the family that lived in a grain silo all he did was laugh his fool head off. no spanking no any punishment my mom was fit to be tied. they really never did spank me so wait til your father gets home was just to scare me. ihated that.

Hello my friend This was really cute, we are always so curious about something lol, when I did things that was way out of the ordinary my mom would not get mad she always explained why or what could happen, one day I went to buy my brother and sister easter shoes, this man conned me out of my money, he said hold onto this let me put your money with mine and we will meet later, well dumb/stupid me feel for it, went into the store ready to pay for the shoes only to find newspaper in the bag, I cried like never before my brother and sister are like wait the shoes I felt really bad I just knew mom would be mad, but no she felt really bad for me, and she explained things to me,she really made me feel so much better, I would never forget that. Thanks my friend.

I remember when I was a kid I used to think that if I stood in front of a boy and he was facing me forwards I would get pregnant. For years I never stood forwards when talking to a boy, I always stood side ways or my backwards towards him.. I really don't know where I got that philosophy from. Until now I have a fear of getting pregnant and I sometimes get that feeling now and again when I talk to a guy but this time I put a little distance and have the courage to face forwards when talking to a guy!

When I was child I believed in fairy stories. My friends and I went to a forest to find the legend fox. My parents and my teacher were looking for us. After they found us and told us it’s just a story, not real, we still believed in what we read on books. I also sent letters to the fox and hoped to get reply letter one day. I was naïve to believe in books I read, sometimes even now I got confused and fell into the story.

So for years, if she served peas with dinner, i would sit there and sqeeze out the insides of all my peas, discarding the outer shells, and then mash them up with some butter and eat them, and LOVE them LoL
