I am planning to visit your country and I like you to be my tour guide throughout my travel to your places. My country are famous for beautiful tourist spot destination such as Boracay, Palawan Subterranian river, Baguio city, Corregidor island, Amanpulo etc. I would like to know the beautiful places which are famous in your country. It is not the only reason that you love the place and the beautiful scenes. Is their any reasons or history behind this place? Do you have sentimental attachment with this places. From what country you belong. I know each one of you are very proud of your heritage and of your cultures. Kindly names the beautiful tourist spots destination in your country. Describe it and why it is famous in your country?

Let’s see…I am in Perth Western Australia and my city is not too big and not too small. I would take you see King’s Park; it is a natural park situated on top of Mount Eliza overlooking the city and our Swan River, it’s around 400 ha and with quite breath taking views.
I would also take you to see Fremantle which around 20 minutes from Perth. Fremantle is very charming with its markets, craft, jewellery and book shops; it is renowned for its ‘cappuccino strip’. Some of the best fish and chips are to found here!
We could venture away from Perth and head up north to Broome and to Cable Beach Resort, very tropical and beautiful. It is about two and half hour flight away from Perth.
There is so much more for you to see, beautiful quaint places down south of Western Australia, come and see!

If you like nature, you have to go to Yosemite National Park and the Grand Canyon. If you like cities, probably New York and San Francisco. For amusement parks, Disney World. For history, Washington DC. All those places are way too far apart though...

If you were to come to the United States, there are so many places to take you that I wouldn't know where to start. How about Boston? Since that is the sight of the original tea party, and there we would see the whole Freedom Trail - where the United States got it's start.
Next, we could go to New York City, since it is the greatest city in the world. You definitely would want to see "The City That Never Sleeps".
Next, I would take you to Philadelphia and show you the Liberty Bell, which also dates back to the days of America's freedom from England. And while in Pennsylvania, we could mosey on over to Gettysburg. This is the site of our Civil War, and where Abraham Lincoln made the Gettysburg Address.
And of course, you would want to see the capital of the United States, Washington D.C. And since it isn't too many miles away from Gettysburg, we would go there next. And then on to Chesapeake Bay, which is a beautiful site which has a unique highway which goes underwater, and then back out again a couple of times.
I could go on and on, without even leaving the East Coast. But I will just mention a few other places that you definitely should see in the U.S.: Niagara Falls, Chicago, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone Park, Hollywood, and the Grand Canyon.

Well, I live about a half hour from Washington DC, so that's about as much history as I can get for ya! I only live a few hours from Ground Zero - the site of the World Trade Center. If you wanted to travel further, I love the Colorado Mountains, The Grand Canyon and The Great Lakes. There are many other places of interest, but I haven't been to too many of them.

The United States is too diverse to try and explain in a short discussion. Even the great nation of Texas is too much for one, so I'll just stick to my city, Austin, and surrounding area, how about that?
We have everything from the French Legation, http://www.frenchlegationmuseum.org/ to the LBJ Library http://www.lbjlib.utexas.edu/ . The short story writer O Henry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O._Henry lived here for many years and the first mass shooting, Charles Whitman from the University tower also happened here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Whitman
You can visit the State Capital building, or cruise 6th street, where there is an active live music scene. Come in mid-March and catch South by Southwest (SXSW) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_by_Southwest and discover what Austin is known for these days!
Willie Nelson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevie_Ray_Vaughan are 2 famous musicians.
And that's not even getting outside of the Austin City Limits http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_City_Limits to see the beauty of Texas, tho the best time to come in in the spring when the wild flowers are in bloom!

One things which attract my inquisitiveness in your city despite of modernization
that your city is voted as the greenest city in America. Also the people are warm and friendly. thanks for your responses.

I am from China. If you are interested in the historical tour places, then I suggest you go to Beijing and Tian'an in my country. The historical spots have thousand years history. If you like the beautiful beach and you shall go to Hainan Island. I really like there. It is very relaxing. If you like the natural natures and the outdoor activities, I will recommend you Yangshuo or Yunnan Province. Hiking is great there. If you like tasting the delicious food, perhaps Guangzhou is the ideal place:)

Your places are also rich in histories, traditions and cultures. I also like to visit the places you mention. Then, the famous one is the Great wall of Chine is among the wonders of the world. I also interested to visit the provinces of my grandmother in Fujian, to search for the remaining relatives. They come here in my country as merchants and then wed my grandfather from my father sides. It is great to know other people of various nationalities and bridging the distances for better understanding in terms of diversity in cultures.

I live in the USA and there are just so many awesome places you can visit. I especially like the Grand Canyon near Flagstaff, Arizona. It is so beautiful there! I like all the colors there, for one thing. If you would like to visit their website, the link is http://www.nps.gov/grca/index.htm. You will see why I like it so much. I don't remember the history behind the Grand Canyon. Arizona is one of my favorite states, anyway, and I like anything of a western nature. Kathy.
