do you think mylot is user friendly??

Actually, MyLot is so easy to operate. And I never encounter any problem at all until now. I think your friends give up too soon. Ask them to pay a visit, and take a look around first before start giving opinion to others here. =)

Its really user friendly system. As I mostly discuss computer related issues.. so I do check daily and respond to most of the new technical issues and question related to technologies. They are having good seo concept related to tagging and searching topics.

I started using MyLot about a year ago, and in the beginning I found the site very confusing, and it was often hard for me to navigate around the site. Now I think that the site is very easy to use, and I know how to find the different things. I think that you need to be a little patient at first, because it might take a while before you get used to the site. I told one of my friends about MyLot, but she said the same things as your friends and she gave up pretty fast, and that is a pity, because I think that Mylot is a great site once you learn how to use it.

I think it's use friendly. Anything is hard to get used to at first, but overall I think it's pretty simple.

I think it doesnt really user friendly. I am lost at the first time i join the site. It is really lack of clue and i almost quit at the first time i joined. Thanks god there are many good people here who would explain thing to me. And also, i takes time for me to find out where i actually can chane avatar, because like many other people, i search them in profile ( which is actually not there ). It is strange why they put avatar menu in preference and not in profile ( i actually upload two picture in profile because i think there will be where i should set my avatar ).

MyLot in fact is a nice site but I see your point. It is confusing for a starter. But once you are used to it, it will be very easy. But after looking at so many poor websites, I feel mylot is very comfortable and extremely intuitive than them. Infact one of the finest interfaces now.

when i started i also felt mylot to be a bit complicated. but with in 2-3 weeks i got used to all the stuffs here. so i think you should advice your friends not to give up too soon, just hang around for few days and mylot will get easy! enjoy!

I think the interface could use a few changes to be a bit more user friendly, yes. It's not unbearable, but, a few things could be improved on. I mean, at times you may be at a loss of which section you should really go to for a specific thing, or how when you've just replied to a discussion you have to go through the add tag/want to subscribe to this interest pages (On which you don't have the tabs to skip to the new/recent discussions, etc). Generally it's small things like that that could be worked upon to leave a better experience to new users who may feel slightly disoriented, and of course, this prevents them from sticking around for too long. I won't really say much against the layout in itself, because I like simplicity and there's not much beautification around so that, for me, it's a plus.

yaa.. mylot is user friendly...and everything is easy in under mylot.. you can ask and gave reply to any questions without any tension..so it's very easy...
