Do mind to let everyone see your private information?

I think it is okay to show my picture, birthday and stuffs. I wont let people know my age, my phone number and the place I live, etc. I have a friend that most of her boyfriends and make in the internet. She tells everything about her to that boy when they are still strangers. Actually I am quite worry about her. I dont want her to be any bad guys in the internet~
What about you guys~~ Do you have the same experience?

Hi Chealseaalawn,
Sharing my picture and date of birth is okay for me,but for sure ,I won't share my address,contact number,my age to the public.
It is my privacy information and not good to be publishes to public.
Play safe !! Never share your important information with a stranger.or else, you will create your own problem.

I know and I never do it. It is so unsafe. I always remind my sister not to show her private information on the internet, and it's good that she doesnt do it.

I'll share my birthday and the city that I live in, but that's about it. I would never make my avatar on a forum like MyLot a photo of myself...because that's just eerie. ANYONE could be looking at that photo of me, and I don't really like it. And NO WAY would I ever put my phone number on the internet, gotta draw the line somewhere!

I think let people to see my pictures is fine. But sometimes my friends always say things about my pictures. And that makes me so unhappy. They are not making bad response about my pictures but they say something bad.

Just photos of me would be fine... I am afraid of identity theft as well so I'm careful in providing some sensitive information about me... Especially here in the Internet!

First of all i will say to you that evey body here is not a bad boy.
second thing i will say it is good to be cautious. You can say no to anyone whom with you dont want to share anything as that can be really a blunder some time. And it is good to be cautious. And you are the friend of her so just make her understand that with whom she is shating with . may be he is good, but if infrmation moving through wires can be obtained by some one and misused

I know. And I am not mean that everyone one is bad. But I just said that I worry about her. I worry that some people cheat her. And I know everyone should be cautious~~

When it comes to releasing personal information on the web, I am a big fat chicken (well, a skinny little chicken actually).
I am not convinced with so called security measures online, so I do not under any circumstances post phone number, address, personal info, and so on.
I do have a actual photo of myself on a writing site I belong to, but it took me time to work up the nerve for that also.
No-one really needs your personal info in order to "befriend" you online, do they? I would post my birthday if people would send cards and gifts though - lol

My phone number and e-mail address is on my website, so no, I'll be careful with physical address though. Just make sure the people can't actually physically get to you, if they phone you just ignore them, or get a call filter like BreezyAssist, easy to get rid of them, e-mail you can set block rules. But your home address, you're in trouble!

I usually dont show my phone number and address on the internet. I think it is not safe to do it. Cuz not everyone on the internet is good. But I dont mean we are bad lol. But I think we should be careful about it.
