Does India will win Champions trophy 2009

Well they have made a disastrous start to the tournament aagainst Pakistan yesterday. They clearly missed players like Sehwag and Yuvraj. They never looked like winning the match. The bowling was poor and batting was below average most of the time. Its a tough call now, they must win their next two matches. Pakistan is certainly in to the next round, its upto the others to fight for a place.

hi kitendra, India today is the top most country in the limited over game in cricket as they top now in ICC rankings and they are very good side too but as on today they got lots of injuries problems. There is no shewag, no yuvraj and no Zaheer khan.. so India has been weakened a lot. On the other side Pakistan has won 20;20 world cup recently and convincingly defeated west indies in last match, so they look stronger on paper but it is also truth that Pakistan has yet to defeat India in any world cup or any international feature where all teams are competing in any form of game. so it is a even steven case but i still think India would win.

It is very hard for me to support India because Indian batting. Dhoni has become a quite batsman and he is no more as explosive batsman he use to be in the past. With Sehwag and Yuvi out of the squad it is now hard of India to win. Gambhir too is not on top form and Dinesh Karthik is not right player to open the innings. Yousuf Pathan is struggling with bat and bowling department will miss Zaheer Khan. Most of the weight will be on the Harbhajan Singh. Ishant Sharma, RP Singh and Praveen Kumar haven't impressed with their bowling. Raina had poor ICC T20 World Cup and he is yet to get into top form. One cannot expect more from Sachin Tendulkar and Dravid, they cannot do any wonders at this age. India will have 1% of chance to make semi final as well..

India has a very good chance, but the other Asian teams pak and srilanka are also having very good chance. For india there is a problem of Openers because of injury of sehwag . let hope sehwag should recover soon.
