How many hours do you spend in front of pC?

How much time do you spend writing or playing games in front of your pc? I spend almost half a day sitting, working or playing at pc. Since I manage some websites I do alot on my pc. Sometimes it gets hard and then I take a walk and come back after 15 minutes or so.

I don't use a computer at work so I have to make up for it while I'm at home!! (That's my excuse anyway). However, I now have an unlimited data plan on my Nokia N95 so I am spending way too much time on the internet while at work lol. So I guess that I'm spending 3 hours a day infront of my computer at home, but prob 15 hours a day on the internet in one way or another. I'm looking at some of the internet tablet deals the mobile phone companies are now offering over here in the uk. So I can improve my surfing time at work!! that should feed my addiction...

Hello picorg, like the most people here, I spend amolst a day (24 hours) in front of computer. While working, I spend nearly 8 hours to solve the problems, handle the endless files and make reports to my superior. After work, I play games, watch movies online or view webs. Wow, half my life will be with the computer.

I spend an average of 4 hours in front of a PC. I spend that time playing online games and surfing the net. When I was a lot younger my record was 20 hours or more. My father would get angry after he sees me in front of the PC in the morning. But now my eyes get teary and my vision gets blurred.

Foremost, it's been quite a while since I had stopped from a daytime work as a financial analyst in a local firm. I was one of the many employees who were laid off due to the financial crisis. Because of this, usage of a computer became seldom for me. Though me and my daughter currently stay with my parents in an internet cafe, I myself find it rather peculiar that I seem to be deprived of the opportunity to use a computer or pc. Even if there are a lot of pcs here in the shop, the chance to surf the net limitlessly is very evasive. For one, there is a small store inside the shop which my parents, I, and a few relatives do have to tend to. Naturally, computer usage by paying outsiders or clients is preferred at all times. Plus, I also have to attend to my daily duties as a mom to my four-year old daughter. My husband presently works away from us, but comes to visit us almost on a weekly basis. So on an average, I only get to open a computer 3 to 4 times in a week, ranging from 2 to 3 hours per session. Anyway, I'd like to welcome you to this wonderful forum community where I have been a member for years now; although I don't have the luxury of time anymore to visit here as often as I used to. Honestly, I do miss this site. Hope you'd like it here and stay for good.

I spend an absolute rediculous amount of time in front of my compter - I work about 8 and a half hours in front of the computer and then I get home and study in front of it for another hour or two a night and now I am wasting more time in front of the computer before I go to bed!

It varies for me. If I have a lot of other things to do, I spend less time on my computer. I try to be on my computer each day for at least four hours doing something constructuve, but there are days when there is just too much going on and I am lucky if I have the time to lig in and check my email!

I practically spend all my time in front of my laptop except when eating, sleeping or going to the bathroom. I am somewhat dependent on my laptop already is I do my work in it and I kind of have built my world around it. Sounds pathetic but it's true. My social life is connected to the internet as well. But if you'll ask me if I'm happy with my life, I would have to say yes. :D

I am mostly on it every day half a day. I do my school online, and I am mostly on Myspace or Mylot. I like being on it most of my day. It's amazing how long I get on it though, my mother doesn't like it. I don't care what she thinks though. I like getting on it all the time.

When it comes to work, I spend about 8 hours in front of the PC every day. Sometimes longer, sometimes less, depending on how many meetings I have throughout the day. On personal time, though, I probably spend another three hours on the PC, checking email and visiting sites like myLot to unwind at the end of the day.
