Prefer long or short Hair !!

Hello Celine, When I was in primary school, I could not keep my hair long , it was the school rules that girls who attend ballet lesson can only keep long hair. So I only start to keep long hair when I was in secondary school. For me daughter I am trying to keep her hair longer. So far, she never keep her hair longer than shoulder length. Now that her hair is going to grow at the shoulder length. I wish to let her keep longer hair. But my mother in law and my mom keep asking me to cut her hair. As for the old folks they said it is easy for little girl to keep short hair, look more neat and not that hot . I want to seek suggestion from you, celine. How you can keep your little girl's hair till so long? My daughter is the person who easy sweating. I can see she sweat more now with her hair is longer. She always wet her hair with sweat when nap and bed time. We do on the aircond in the bedroom but she still sweating alot. I might want to let her cut her hair shorter. But I love to see her hair grow longer and I can tie her hair with pony tail ,

Hi Moon morning, Actually my mother and my mother in law also same your mother and your mother in law thing like that. Old people must say if short hair for child is more no hot. But i thing is wrong because if her hair become long than we can rebond her hair everyday and also will no hot. For me is short hair more hot than long hair, because short hair can not rebond and long hair can rebond. My daughter also like your daughter easy sweating. But my mother got tell me every one children got drink milk than must keep sweating a lot. When my daughter hair is short then she always sweating a lot my mother and my mother in law when saw it must say me why dun want cut her hair until short.I say i want give her long hair than old people is like that must take many lo. Until my girl hair is keep more long can rebond. Me every day rebond my daughter hair. Until my father also will rebond my daughter hair. So my mother no say want cut her hair ready and also say never cut her hair because if cut her hair than her will sweating a lot my father will angry. Because my daughter is my father take care. :P

Hi Melanie, it is good that you takecare of your own hair. Do a hair treatment on your hair at least once a month.It does help your hair grow healthier. I also like to rebond my hair,it looks smooth and easier to manage it. But now I have permed my hair,more time for me to tidy up my hair.

Hi Melanie, I won't waste my money on salon every month,it is not worthy. I prefer to do my own hair treatment at home. At least I can do it anytime I want and it is much more cheaper too. I just need to get all the necessary stuffs ready and do it when I have a free time. I thought of colouring my own hair(DIY colouring). I am not sure whether it is easy or not.

Yes my friend, i also take care of my hair, by using the conditioner. About hot oil i apply my hair on my own. Because if every month i visit the parlor it so expensive haha! Thanks for your response.

Hi Buchi, I am just wondering how long is your hair now??? waist lenght?? I never keep my hair till very long,now my hair is getting longer as I have not been cutting it for almost 10 months. Since I am perming my hair, I like to keep it long ,it looks better rather than having short and perm hair(looks like a ball to me). You can consider have some hair treatment to make your hair grow healthier and it will look more neat and nice.

Now it grows up to waist length but I cut it to 3/4th size of it. Thanks for the advice and I will take hair treatment as advised by you.

Hi Buchi, Glad that you will have a hair treatment, it is good for your own hair. Remember not to do it so often.As for me, I did it twice a month. It has a good impact on my hair,My hair looks softer and smoother nowadays. Takecare !!

Hi Shia, You have been so quietly lately! Hope to see your new discussion real soon. 1 month has passed and my hair is getting longer now. . By the time Chinese New Year, I will be able to tie my hair. For me I did use the dry shampoo during my confinement month. But I don't use it every day. I just don't get use of this dry shampoo. The hair wasn't get clean enough with this dry shampoo.

Hi Vingyan, I encounter the same problem like you, my hair keeps dropping after I delivered my son,I am not sure whether it is due to hormon changes or some other issues. I understand that during confinement period,no wash hair is allowed,so I got a dry shampoo to keep my hair smells nice and clean for that whole month, or else, I won't be able to sleep with sticky hair.I also tied up my hair during my confinement period,at least,it looks neater. So do you plan to keep your hair long now?? Maybe you can consider change your hair style,keep it bit longer and perm it. A new look for Chinese New Year,not a bad idea to try out.

Hi Feodda, Glad that you are satisfied with your new looks. I won't never cut my hair short again,I prefer to have long hair as my face is round shape,having short hair will make my face looks bigger. I am on perming now. I am thinking of rebonding my hair this coming November.

Your aunt really go pull your hair down to double confirm it is real or fake. Don't you feel your head heavy with such a long hair? Will you encounter hairdrop? Now my hair is above my waist, I encounter hairdrops as my hair is getting longer. Maybe I should apply some tonic to get new hair grow up again.

Yes, waist lenght :) once happend something funny to me, cause I went to visit my aunt, i had a lot of time without visiting her and she realized i had my hair longer, she told me i have beautiful hair and suddenly she pulled it cause wanted to be sure it wasn't fake hahaha a lot of people think my hair is fake but it's not, i love my hair :) as soon as i can i'll upload a photo so u can see ;) P.S. sorry for my english, i am from mexico and sometimes i make some mistakes hahaha

Hi Andrew, I agreed with you. I also prefer guy to be in short hair. Looks tidy,smart and clean. Somemore,it is easy to maintain,need less time to wash hair,less shampoo is needed and no need to blow dry as it will dry very fast. Like my husband, he visit a salon every month,he has a short hair too.

HI Iamfine, If you want to keep your hair straigt,you can go for rebonding anytime you want. Your hair will look straight after a few hours sitting in a salon. I also like straight hair,but sometimes it gets bored when always in same hair style,that is why I decided to perm my hair last year. I did coloured for my hair too.It looks more trendy to have permed coloured hair.

Hi Lelin, Since you like to have a straight hair, you can always try for rebonding. It does keep your hair to be straight and easier to manage your hair actually. I did have rebonding for the past few years,until last year I decided to change my hair style,I went for perming. Lucki it suit my face.I did coloured my hair one week later after I permed it. It makes me look more trendy.

Hi Dknkyle, Another guy who likes girl in long hair. Most of the guy has this kind of feeling.Long hair girls look more feminine and sexy in a certain way. The reason I keep my hair long is that I can put on any type of hair clips on it and I can either keep it straight or perm my hair. But long hair actually needs more work to do,I always need more time to wash my hair.\

Hi Jules, I agreed with you,having short hair is good in term of need less shampoo to wash it and also more manageable. But then I myself is in long hair.I have been in short hair during my childhood. Started to get bored with it,so I kept my hair long till now. I even permed my hair now.

Hi Cwong, Talking about confinement, I have to keep my hair unwashed for a month, I can't imagine for not washing my hair for a month.But no choice,I have to make it too.I bought a dry shampoo to clean my hair during my confinement,At least my hair is not smelly.but then I can feel itchy sometimes because I do sweat alot. However, I never think of cutting my hair short just because I am pregnant and during confinement I was not able to wash it. So I tie up my hair for that whole month just to keep myself tidy. Since I was in my high school, I started to keep my hair long till now. I still prefer to have long hair.I can put on any hairclips with different designs. I love to shop for some unique hair clips.

Hi Nijolechu, For a guy, I still prefer them to have a short hair. It looks more tidy and smart. I did not mean that guy with long hair does not look smart. But as for my husband,he keeps his hair short and he has his haircut once a month.

Hi BuPing, I guess your hair must be very long now. I also like long hair,looks more feminine actually. Somemore I am not a sporty girl,so long hair is more suitable for me. I have my haircut once a year,normally during year end before my holiday trip in December.

Hi OrangeJuice, Since you like yourself with long hair,just keep it long. During hot season,you can simply tie up your hair. They are many designs of hairclips in the market. Nowadays,there is some hairclips with Swaroski jewellery.It is very nice,but bit pricey. I also permed my hair now....year end is coming forward,I am still considering whether to perm my hair or rebond it for this year.

Hi Dorisday, I also encountered the same problem like yours,my hair keep dropping after I gave birth to my son. Last time I do have some hair drops,but not that much. After the delivery, it seems it getting worse. I am thinking of using hair tonic on my hair,it can helps to get new hair grow up again. So do you apply anything hair tonic now?

Hi Xsarleenax, Whenever I visit a salon, I will always tell my hairstylist not to cut my hair too short,I don't like it.At least cut away 3-4 centimetre will do,not more than that. I also prefer long hair,I can tie it up or even just let it down and put some nice hair clips on it. So nice !!

Amybrezik, You can always tie up your hair,so you won't feel so hot and more comfortable. I always tie up my hair during hot season and while I am cooking and doing housechores. Do want to cut your hair short?? Better consider carefully !! For me, I won't cut my hair short again.I love my long hair now.
