MY favourite break up song of all times will be, FIxing a broken heart.. lol =D WHwn i first heard that song, i have already fallen for it, when i was just about 9-10 years then.. hehe ^_^ I like the melody in it, as well as the simple lyrics, which carries so much of true feelings too.. haha =D NOthing is able to replace that song in me, and of course, with each break up, there will tend to be a unique break up song for that particular person too ^_^

IT's actually quite contradicting if one does not understand the meaning behind it.. hehe ^_^ And that's what i like about the song

That is the song by Indecent Obsession from the album Unsorted and in my country another local artist known as Christian Bautista have it own version too. This song is very soulful and it describes about the pain and regret which one have to undergo after a break up. And, from the tittle itself "Fixing a Broken Hearts may be of two ways, fixing a broken hearts when you let yourself heal through times and then learn to let go of your love, hoping for something new to arrives to heal one broken hearts. Why did one have to let go of someone you love? When you have the opportunity to make yourself happy..Then, it is not true that letting go is also setting free as when your love is missing you feel then stress and lonely. Then, it is only right to fight back and cherish every moments spent with your love. Thus, do not waste time for pain and agony, when after the break up it is no longer resolves. Then, it is a time to let go of the feeling than remaining chain in the past. I think in the song their is a lines which says "Ever could understand what I'm going through There must be a plan that led me to you Cause of the hurt just disappears In every moment you are near, yeah Just like an answered prayer You make the loneliness easy to bear" which means that after the break up, someone new would comes.

hi ck, yeah, the tell me lyrics is like asking where did i go wrong? after a break up many would really ask that kind of questions..yeah, selena too is a nice song, nina the soul siren got a lot of good music too and free style they are famous from that song, before i let you go. Good for you as you have not experience it yet and so far your hubby surely would be yours forever and i do hope their would be no break up as you surely love each other. Break up song maybe sad and very emotional with the ways the lyrics and music are done. Every girl or boy who experience break up could relate somehow to the messages which the song like to convey. Thus, after break up their is sunny day to come not always gloomy days..

I think if I am not mistaken it is a song version either by Neil Sedaka or Karen Carpenter and to quote a few lines to it; Breaking Up Is Hard To Do Don't take your love, Away from me Don't you leave my heart In misery If you go Then i'll be blue Cause breakin' up is hard to do And, from the lyrics itself it says break up is a sad things to do and makes any person lonely which is a very emotional things to do...

Actually two of my favorite breakup songs aren't sad in the least. They both remind me of one guy in particular, and thinking about him I always feel a sense of relief that he's gone from my life. That's not to say that I wasn't devastated when we split, but now I know it was the best thing that ever happened. Now hearing these songs makes me feel happy and exhilerated to be past that point in my life. They are: Miranda Lambert's "Kerosene" www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RWbW29nmU4 and Jacynthe's "Look Who's Crying Now" www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVVUjaY08Ok The only really sad breakup song that reminds me of someone who I am genuinely sorry to have lost is Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U". "Unbreak my Heart" by Toni Braxton used to make me cry over a guy years ago, but then he was one of the first serious guys I ever dated, and I literally did think my heart was broken.

This is a few lines from Toni Braxton Unbreak my heart Say you'll love me again,Undo this hurt you caused,When you walked out the door And walked outta my life,Un-cry these tears,I cried so many nights Un-break my heart,My heart I think of this song with the incredible soulful voice of the singers greatly gives justices to the lyrics and music of the song. It is a heartbreaking song which deeply penetrates the mind of the lovers who undergo break up still lingers in their memories the pain, sad and agony of break up. it is indeed a very emotional song...

I don’t know if these are necessarily favourites but there are two that bring back memories of past break ups one is Sinead O’Connor’s ‘Nothing compares to you’. I remember sitting in a café just after a major relationship bust up waiting to meet my friend so I could cry on her shoulder and they played this song and I could not stop sobbing for an hour! The other is Alanis Morisette’s You Oughta Know, the lyric “It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced...” brings back memories of a broken heart too and the anger of having being taken for a ride by “Mr Duplicity”.

Hi greychunny, that is a heart breaking soul it really express the emotion of a lover who been dreaming to be with his loved ones but it is really impossible to happen again because the other partner decided to left him. Then, he is mending a broken hearts pretending to be alright when deep inside he is really still in the state of shock unable to accept the reality that the loved ones left him alone in tears, pain and agony.

Hey neelianoscet! I have had so many different break up songs! It's hard for me to think of them because throughout the years there were different ones for different breakups! I know that "Never Thought You'd Leave In Summer by Stevie Wonder was one of them. "Never Can Say Goodbye" by Michael Jackson was another. Oh and "Fire and Rain by James Taylor was another when I was in college in Massachusetts. Like I said I had so many since I'm alot older than you I had alot of breakups and alot songs from various artists throughout the years!

hi Opal, Good for you manage to over now from a break up and what remains are only the memories of the past sweethearts. All break up song gives a meaningful meaning which have an effects in one mind memories and every time you encounter that song being play the past is relive again through the song. It may reflect one feeling as one could absorb the painful or heartbreaking period when love decides to cut down all the communication and connection. But, in later period one could realize that break up taught a lesson to be strong after it happen and remain a better person where you are now. All the song you mention are all goods and it also show your selection of music depending on your moods after the break up happen.

Hi, neel I like Amanda Marshall's I'll Be OK. Funny though because I discovered the song while reading a letter sent by my husband's ex-girlfriend a long long time ago (yes, I read it. Don't ask. Long story ). Anyway, I do not have any ex-boyfriend to dedicate the song to but I like it anyway. Here are some of the lyrics... It's time to let you go; it's time to say Goodbye No more excuses; no more tears to cry There's been so many changes; I was so confused All along you were the one; all the time I never knew. I want you to be happy; you're my best friend But its so hard to let you go now; all that could have been I'll always have the memories; she'll always have you Fate has a way of changing; just when you don't want it to Throw away the chains; Let love find a way Till love comes again, I'll be OK! Oh, can I just paste everything? Here's more: Life passes so quickly, you've got to take the time Or you'll miss what really matters, you'll miss all the signs I've spent my life searching, for what was always there, Sometimes it will be too late, sometimes it won't be fair. Throw away the chains, Let love fly away Till love comes again, I'll be OK! I won't give up... I won't give in... I can't re-create what just might have been, I know that my heart will find love again Now is the time to return.... Throw away the chains, Let love find a way Till love comes again, I'll be OK! Can't go on forever, baby; I can't go on forever, baby... Can't go on forever, baby... yeah...; I'll be OK Great song, isn't it? It makes me cry sometimes. It's just so...positive. I hope all girls are like that. I never met that ex-gf but I kinda like her.

lol..what a heck and you loved it despite it comes from your husband ex.. Yeah, the song really is very heart warming and it really penetrates anyone who know to interpret every word in the lyrics really written to provoke emotions. I really sympathize to with the girl and she really heart broken and by this song she sent to your husband as a messages of what she feel at the moment. It is so sad and yet is is true than letting go is painful but have to be brave to face it before the loneliness swallow you in. The song is very touching but at the end it brings some hopes that in every break up a new love would turn again to wash away the tears and sadness..

My break up song is from Pink entitle Misery And, oh! I've been down this road before With a passion that turns into pain And each I saw love walk out the door I swore never get caught again But ain't it true? It takes what it takes And sometime we get too smart to leave One more heartache for me Another night of misery I like the lyrics and the song it remind of my break up which I becomes so depress for a matter of days but in the next 2 weeks I manage to find a new one. Thus, I show it to the world if he replace me i could easily get another replacement! :D

Yeah,it is true after a break up what follow is endless nights of misery, regrets and a mix feeling of sadness for the lost love and angry that he found someone new to replace you. It is deeply hurt to think about it many times and it could makes or break you into pieces. Sad to say it is the part of reality and not everything that we would wish to happen ends up in nothing. Hoping and waiting is part of the aspects of life that inspires one to make a new outlook in life despite of the past break up. Hoping to meet new one and welcome a new person who would happen to bump on you and destined to be happy with you. Some things are happening to make a person realize that relationship are like glasses no matter you handle it with care it tend to break up into pieces. So it is better for everyone to be courageous whatever the consequences of any relationship as their is no permanent happiness only changes.

I have two songs that I cannot listen to because of the memories associated with them. One is brad Paisleys's " She's everything to me" and Tim McGraw's " Its your love" both are filled with memories that although I am over the guy, they still bring back very painful memories. However, I do like Leona Lewis' " Better in Time" and Rascal flatts " Stand" both are very inspirational songs for me.

hi amanda kringle I like the song too from Leona Lewis "Better in Time" and to quote a few lines from the lyrics it says; Thought I couldn't live without you It's gonna hurt when it heals too It'll all get better in time And even though I really love you I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to It'll all get better in time It means that after a break up although it is full of pain and agony it would just pass and heal by time. Then, after the emotional things associated with it ones could learn the art of letting go and be free again to start a new life..

There are quite a few such touching songs in the national language of my country India, that is in hindi. Some lines just make us think that this song was written only for me! They make us cry. Though I don't listen to many English songs, there is one song which has this effect on me - Faraway by Nickelback It is such an amazing song and the lyrics are like... Cant express in words! Damn I feel like typing the entire lyrics here! But I will just stick to the part that hits 'Just one chance, just one breath, just in case there's just one left Cause u know, u know.. I love you, I have loved you all along, And I miss you.. Been far away fro far too long' I am sure many people love it too and I wont be surprised if I see someone has already mentioned it :)

Well, I think of the song is about a love who is far away from you, like your boyfriend or love lives in other countries away from you. Because of distance you deeply miss both of each other. It seems like you want to be with him every time you think of your sweetheart but you could not do so. And, hence results in extreme sadness and longing wanting to be with him most of the times. You see him in your dreams and in your hearts and mind he always stay. I think of the song tells about two lovers who been separated for a long time and have been patiently wait to overcome loneliness by reuniting with your love.

Song really signifies life in all aspects symbolizing the events that happen throughout the life of a person. And, in your cases you have no particular break up song but only a few song that becomes meaningful when you heard the music and gently understand the phrases behind it. Whether it is a sad or happy song the important on is able to feel the pain, agony and the releasing effects of the song could makes any listeners grasp for its meaning and be inspires to becomes more a better person after hearing it rather than lingering on the depressing side of a break up.
