Almost all of us if not all wants to be rich. Of course me too. Well who doesn't? Even the rich wants to become richer. Be the richest person in the world. They worked hard, sacrifice many, gained many, lose many and became rich. After all the struggles they reached their goal to become rich. So, you think they're happy and content with their lives now? Are you rich? How are you doing?

Hmm, good question! I know one rich person and several well off people and they all have the same exact issues that we have; with one difference! Now they have an added worry of losing it all!!
They have relationship issues, health issues, family issues, need attitude adjustments; even more so because they have money! It's like some of them are so vain and I guess it's because they're proud of their accomplishments, but why look down on me because I'm not where you at financially?! So, I won't say that they're any more happier than we are, just that they have more stability in their financial health, so that's what makes them seem overtly happy!!

Yes you're right. When you're rich it's so easy for you to look down people. Plus keeping your properties intact is a difficult thing to do. It's just like starting from scratch to become rich or even harder than that. ahgg. Should i still aim to become rich? hehe

well i hope it's that easy. when you're rich you can't just sit there and relax. Of course you have to protect what you've earned from losing it. I doubt you can concentrate more with your family when you've got a much greater responsibility managing your assets.

Some people even became rich by doing what they loved the most, instead of getting carried away by what other people wanted to do. So maybe beig rich wasnt their goal but since they did what their heart said, they enjoyed their journey to the top. Even I want to be rich. Yesterday I started a similar discussion "I love money! Do you?" And there was someone there who commented saying I really wonder whats missing in a person's life when he/she says he loves money. I just wanted to reply the only thign missing in my life is money! :D I have everything else :)
I am not rich now but I have no doubt I will be very soon. I want to experience all the beautifl things in life once and then I dont mind donating to the poor and needy. I dont even know how I will do it, but I am sure I will do it ultimately

Good point. You can become rich without stepping on other people and do what you really love. I admire your determination to become rich. I'm also telling that to myself and i believe i will be rich someday. I think there's nothing wrong in loving your money or the material things you have. After all, you worked hard for it or if not you own those things right? What am i saying. hahaha. Thank for dropping by. :)

Hi shadow41
I am by no means rich and if I was I probably wouldn't spend as much time on here that I do! hahaha A lot of rich people are not happy because they wake up in the morning and want for nothing. The drive to get things has gone because they have already got it or can just go and get it, there is no excitement in thriving to get something anymore.

Ahahaha. Me too. I wouldn't be here much or not at all if im rich. Well i think you're right that many rich people are not happy because their drive to get something is gone. But if i were them? I would probably go on a vacation in a really nice beach with lots of companions at my side(ehem ehehe) and then spend more time with friends and family. I'll be very happy to spend my spare money. lol.

Who among us don't want to be rich I admit I want to be rich to solve all my financial problems. I know rich people can't be happy, they are many worries in their life and it is very stressful to be rich. They can't go in public places without worrying that someone going to kidnapped them or rob them. You can get want you want but in time of calamities or sickness you are vulnerable. I began to realize that when strong typhoon hits us last Saturday rich people are not spared to calamities they can also be affected.

hi shadow41
i think it depends, if you get those riches through hardwork then you deserve to be happy but if you get it through bad ways then i think it's hard to be happy. Being rich doesn't mean your happy what important is you live your life fairly, that will make you happy.

that will be an unfortunate situation, what will you gonna do with that money if you have no families to share it with. i mean sometimes success can cause a lot. relationship, people you loved the most, only few things that you have to exchanged for success.

hello, Yeah you're right. people who achieve richness through hard work deserve to be happy but still it lies upon on what you've sacrificed to reach it. You become rich but you lose your family. You deserve to be happy but you can't do it coz your love ones are gone. Thanks for dropping by :)

Hello. Yes lots of rich people are not happy simply because they're not content with what they have. Or maybe their lives got complicated because of the responsibilities that abide from being a rich person. But there are those very lucky people say for example those who won the lottery big time! wow. I can't imagine how happy they are.

I think it is still a matter of balance. If a person is rich but he has sacrificed everything including his relationship with his wife, children or other family, then he can never be truly happy. If he has a lot of wealth but no true friends, people he can really talk to then he will still feel lonely. Being rich is an advantage but it is not everything.

Well shadow41,i think happiness does not see whether the person is poor or rich. There are many people who are not rich but they are happy and some people who have pots but they are unhappy.I am not rich not poor, but i am happy.Yes,i want little more money for my son but i don't want be rich bucz rich people face more problem then we.

Yes indeed. They have greater responsibilities to do to maintain their rich status. I believe a little management and balancing can solve this matter. If you have a goal to become rich you should work for it at the same time do your responsibilities to your family, friends, and mostly to yourself. Nobody should be neglected.

Hey,
Well I am actually not sure if they are actually happy, but I can pretty much guarantee you that their lives are filled with a lot more leisure than what our lives are filled. I don't want to be rich, just have enough money to easily pay off the bills and have a house of my own. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

The rich people are definitely more happy than the poor. It is impossible to be happy when you are poor. One can be happy only when one's belly is fed, one has good clothes to wear and one has got a decent shelter.
Of course, rich people also want to grow richer. This is expansion. It is not out of dissatisfaction. It is only that man wants to grow more and more. For some people, more growth depends on the dimension of wealth.

hello there. It's not impossible to be happy when you are poor. You can be happy even if you're poor. You just have to be content for what you have. I know lots of poor family and they're happy because they are together and they're content with what they have. Well of course they can be happier than they are right now.

Financially I am not at all rich. But I consider myself to be the richest person in the whole world for one particular reason. The reason is that I close to the people who love me very much.
You can have all the money in the world but it would seem worthless if you have no one to share it with. People first then money.

I'm not rich and I'm not that poor ^_~ maybe in average level of life, uhmm they can be happy coz they can buy what they want, unfortunately most of them don't have a good family, I dunno, as long as my family is whole and happy, I can stay here in my level and cannot ask more. ^_~ Don't be too hasty to reach want you want, the faster you reach the top, the faster you drop and fell down again ^_~

In Chinese culture people use to say :" People sacrifice their life for money, Birds sacrifice their life for food". Chinese use to say this to make themselves aware of working too hard and sacrificing their health, family, even life...Initially people pursue money as much as possible just to make the life easier to enjoy. But as the need extending as long as increasing of their income, it seems like thing doesn't develop as good as the initial hope. Busy and hardworking has become the worst enemy of " gold digger club ". Yes, no one can put the need and the effort in the proper ratio, so that won't be making harm to us. But experience will be a good teacher, getting wise is a must.

It's nice to hear your content with what you have right now. But are you really content? You see there's this saying or concept saying that man has no contentment or fulfillment. Everyday we seek a much better life. Hmmmm... I'm glad you can say you're content 'cause I'm not. Thanks for dropping by moarmoney4me. :)

I am not rich but I think I am well provided by God. I think being rich is not the way to be happy because if wealth is making people happy then why there are so many moneyed people who are still unhappy? In fact the happiness of a man living a simple life could not be surpassed by a man who lives in a mansion surrounded by guards and always thinking of how to increase his wealth and how to keep the wealth so it could not be stolen. Having so much material things in the world destroys contentment and peacefulness of ones mind. Not all of course but many rich people want to be richer. Money becomes their god and they totally concentrated their minds to accumulate more and more wealth and relied on the power of their money. At the end of the day they retire and tried to sleep on a comfortable and very soft bed inside an air-conditioned room but could not sleep soundly because of the many business deals in their minds and also still unhappy and feeling empty because their thirst for more money is still unsatisfied. This is so unlike a person who is already happy and contented with his day to day living under the grace of God who provides him with all his needs without necessarily making him super rich.

You can define riches. It is a dollars and cents. It is an accumulation of assets. Private jets like John Travolta.Luxury cars including sports cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini. Mansions in all big cities in the world It is a live-style. Travel in first class or in your own jet. Warren Buffet is billionaire extraordinaire.
What is happiness? This is relative to desire. It desires are met, happiness is considered as present in their lives. This can range from a life free from diseases and other physical and mental threats. It is getting the women of your dream. Beg or buy;have it your way to her heart.
I am not rich but I am contentedly happy at my level.

Hi Shadow,
I don't mind that I become rich If any chance. I am easy to satisfy with my life as I do not pursuit the luxury life.
Some of people are born of rich, I think it is not good for their growth as it can not practice their personality in such superior enviroment; some of people are rich as they try very hard to accomplish, which means they will pay for it, saying the health or the love.
I just want to be a common healthy person.
