Since the new season of television shows have started airing on television I was wondering if anyone has any new favorite shows they like? I have a bunch of new ones I recorded but haven't had the chance to watch yet. One of the new shows that I did watch and really like is called "Modern Family". It is a half hour comedy show and it's pretty funny.

I haven't seen any new shows that I like besides Fast Forward and I don't know if I'll stick with that one. I probably will, it's very intriguing. I stick to my old favorites--24, House, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Fringe and Warehouse 13.

A lot of people seem to like Fast Forward. At least you have some old favorites to fall back on.

You aren't weird. You just know what you like. I used to watch Amazing Race but then I got tired of it.

I only liked one episode of the amazing race. It's when two of my fellow countrymen were part of the show. I prefer Fear Factor though.

Ya know i have never really gotten into viewing sitcoms of the like. I usually prefer movies to regular weekly shows. One show that i enjoyed for many years was Madd tv. Saturday nite live just isnt the same. Now they dont have madd tv anymore.

ya i think its way too political. I dont know why but i always liked madd tv better. For a short time they like a season of some bad skis. Probably because of the writters. But anyway its gone now.

I used to like Saturday Night Live too but that was years ago. I think they just run out of good material.

I'm really into Fringe nowadays, it's not a new show, actually they are showing their second season right now.. but I just really love it... I like the story and the suspense... I have not seen any new television shows, though my sister just told me that Glee is really good.. I'm planning on seeing it this weekend.

I haven't heard about Glee. What is that about? Is it a comedy show?

I am not really familiar with the story. Though I think it's about highschool students who are members of the glee club in their school, and they're all outcasts so the show follows their lives..

I have my old favorites from last year (Supernatural and Smallville), but this year I have something to watch nearly every day, or to record for a later time. On Mondays, I watch Castle. On Tuesdays, I'm watching both NCIS shows; on Wednesdays, I watch Criminal Minds and later watch a recorded Law & Order SVU; on Thursdays, I'm watching Vampire Diaries; Saturday I don't really have anything, and Sundays I normally watch Masterpiece Mystery. In terms of favorite shows, I'd currently rank them this way: 1. Castle- Because I am a writer myself, it is interesting to see a dramatized version of a writer working on a book while joking around with New York detectives. 2. Criminal Minds - I enjoy watching this because it is interesting seeing them go into a criminal's thought process and try and figure out who fits a profile. It's also interesting when they have someone who fits the profile, but ends up having not committed the crimes they're investigating. 3. NCIS LA - While I would normally put the original up first, the new series caught my attention with its opening episode last Tuesday, which had more of an adrenaline rush. If I had to really pick NCIS or NCIS LA as the three, they'd be tied. But I'm not one to put two things in the same category. 4. NCIS - The new season really opened with a bang, although I think it'll be interesting to see how things go on tonight's episode. It looks like Ziva and Tony will finally be working out some of the issues they have between them. 5. Supernatural - I didn't used to watch shows like this mainly because of how I was raised, but Supernatural caught me up in its web and I've found nearly every episode interesting. The dynamics between the two brothers have always been interesting to watch, and now that Castiel is being more 'human', he is so funny to watch. 6. Vampire Diaries - Normally, I stay away from too many teen drama shows, mainly because they tend to be really pathetic in plot and in interaction between characters. I've found V.D. to be more interesting than most, which is probably why I found it so interesting. 7. Special Victims Unit - I've been watching SVU since it began airing, though much of it I've had to do on Netflix since soon afterward my father became ultra-conservative to the point that if he heard an innuendo, he'd shut down the television for the night. Going into its 11th season, SVU is one of the longer-running dramas that I'll watch. Stabler is by far my favorite detective, and has been one with which I can identify. 8. Smallville - This would normally have been at the top, but I've found so many other shows that I enjoy more that it is lower on my favorites. But at least its in the top ten. With Season 9, and the introduction of a much younger Zod, Smallville has an interesting plot that will be taking it in new directions. Finally seeing the Shield of the House of El finally on Clark's chest is both a shock and relief, as I was starting to think the show would be cancelled before we saw the infamous S. As for other shows, they're the kind of thing that I watch when I can. Masterpiece is sometimes impossible to catch, since if a sudden news story comes up, they'll cut it off, or in some cases, decide not to air it because a better program comes on. This past SUnday, they were supposed to air it, but chose to air something about the National Parks, apparently without giving out a warning on their station. So, for me, this fall and spring will be much more packed in the evenings. After all, my old favorites were always on the same night before. This is much better, I think.

I absolutely love Supernatural. I'm watching thru Netflix and in the middle of the 3rd season. I have viewed all of the bonus material as well. Eric Kripke is a genius. Many of the shows begin with particular scenes in mind, and then a show is built around them. He has even had friends and relatives call him up after seeing a show and ask what's wrong with him! Jared & Jensen make me want to go cougar, and I love thinking about being the meat in that brother sandwich! SVU is one of my favorites, too. Have been watching since first season. I love the cast although I wish they'd kept Alex as DA; I'm not at all impressed by the new one.

I'm not a big tv person, I watch what's on but I never get started in a series because they will always cancel it. I watch cartoons and wrestling, those are solid classic with a continuing storyline.

Hi Sahar19 Well the X Factor has just started again on our tv here in the UK so I am enjoying watching that and it will be on until Christmas so that is good too. There are very few programs that I tune in especially for each week.

Hey, Well I don't really know about the new and latest TV shows that are on right now. The main reason is because I don't really watch TV that often and so I don't really keep up with these all new TV shows that keep coming out. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Oh yes, hubby and I live for our tv time during the week with the new seasons... we try to have at least one show to watch everynight --even if it is just a half hour show... that gives us that much time to sit and not think about bills or the house but our relaxing time. Mondays we love the show "Big Bang Theory" and on Tuesdays we have "The Biggest Loser"... after that I am not sure but we find something every night. Happy mylotting!!

Is the Biggest Loser show an entertaining show to watch? I know the shows about losing weight, but is it any fun to watch? I'm curious because I always see the tv commercial promos about that show.. But never seen the show before.

Since I'm a computer junkie, I must confess that I haven't had any new favorite television shows lately. But I had a few favorites namely CSI, HBO, Cartoon Network, and of course, Discovery Channel. I think I'll just stick to them.

I make it a rule to not add new shows to my list of viewing material because I am time limited. If I have the time to watch TV, I want it to be something I am already watching or a movie, usually through netflix. From time to time, I have started wathcing new shows because I got a recommendation from family or friends.

Ya I had been a fan of quite a few tv shows myself. But these days I am just a little to afraid of starting on something new. There used to be a time when I quite religiously followed Heroes, How I met Your Mother, Prison break etc. But Most of these shows except a few, haven't yet come up with there latest seasons yet and am quite sick of the waiting now. Waiting to see how things unfold in the new season or the finale. That's actually the sole reason that I haven't started watching any new shows, as i am afraid that by the time I get a hang of it the curernt season will end and then i would have to wait long for the next season to start and that I don't want. Take care

Hello Shar. I seldom get the chance to watch TV shows. With my full time job, I often get back home pretty late in the evenings. And, I am pretty much tired and stressed when I get back home, feel like just going bed. The shows I watch some times are the game shows. One of my favorites is "Jeopardy". Very intelligent and clever people !

That is why I like watching comedy shows at night - to relieve some stress. I watch Jeopardy once in a while. It makes me feel dumb though since I never know the answers.

The only show that I've watched so far that is one of the new ones was Mercy and I think it was okay, but it wasn't any ER. Okay, I was a huge ER geek and in all of the seasons that it was on, I never missed an episode and now own the majority of the seasons of it on DVD. I'm a geek for either reality television or medical drama so there really isn't a lot to satisfy me right now other than my old standbys. I am really enjoying this season of The Biggest Loser and Survivor this season has been pretty good as well.
