The way it should be, but sadly some become involved in "keeping up with the Jones'" and before they know it end up living for work!

My goal is to work for a living. My new job told me that my days off are theoretical and revolving.(I will find out tomorrow if what my schedule is for Thursday). I was told that I can't have off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years. I am apparently on call from 7am-11pm every day, and they said that they can call me at any time. I want a job where I can pay my bills, have enough money to survicve, and can actually make plans on my days off.

Never much fun when one's health starts to cause problems. Hopefully the retirement years are kind to you. When I was young dad had a bad accident, before workcare, and mum looked after 2 lodgers, it helped get over the worst!
