It can't be time to get up..

I went to bed late last night because I was up trying to find more ways to make money online. So by the time I went to bed it was 12:00. This is late for me since usually I'm in bed between 10 - 10:30pm. So anyway the alarm went off at 6am and I could have sworn I just got to sleep. I kept telling myself "it can't be time to get up". Sure enough, it was.

I hated the alarm when i was working & had to use one. Thank heavens i don't have to use one anymore. I hope u get more rest tonight. I know u must be tired & that's a bad way to start your day.

Good luck on getting some real rest. I know how it is when you get on here and start searching for online jobs. Sometimes I find myself still up at 5 in the morning filling out applications.

Can you write articles? That's a good way to make money. I'm with an article service and very pleased with my earnings. I also do paid surveys.
Don't short yourself on sleep or your health will go downhill--then you'll really by in trouble!

I can give you the email of the guy I write for if you want, just send me an email. People write for Triond, Helium and others. It's easy. I'm writing about insurance now and by learning a few basic facts I can write the articles easily. There is also the "tasks" category here that pays you $4 for 6 short paragraphs but you have to use their keywords. If I have time soon, I might try that, too.
I don't know sites that want short stories, but you can go over to the "earn money" section and ask if anyone knows of a place. I hope you find something!

i do sympathize with you!
However, money on line is hard to come by cuz of so many scammers.
Still watch that clock, go to bed at a reg. time and then you will not up taking sleeping pills like I have to do.
I used to go to bed around ten but illness stopped that and then couldn't sleep, so the pills.
right now, i am working on not taking them, getting to bed at the same time and doing light exercise and warm baths, etc.
Just always make it apoint to get to bed at the same time.
And, please don't beat up your alarm clock LOL it's not its fault:)
And, sure nuf it is time to get up and get moving :)

I hope you do not get on sleeping pills. Tho the drs. say the ones I take are not habit forming, HA! I can't sleep without them anymore.
Self discipline is the only way to really sleep well.
But, dah? if it gets right down to it and you have no health problems, drink a shot of whiskey or brandy.
Just make sure you haven't taken any pills before hand.
And, now, don't get me wrong, I'm not an advocate of drinking at all. I just know what works for me and I can't drink cuz of heart problems.
Do your best to get to bed at the same time each nite, ok?

I go through this alot. I hardly ever get any sleep. It is because I am up working and taking care of business all the time too. I know more than lay down and it is time to get up and do something else.

The night is still young at 12.00 and my usual sleeping time is around 3.00 am or much later when I hear the first c0ck crows. My eyes has gotten used to sleep late as I have to supervise the running of my pub and while doing so sneak in to surf the net.

I can't tell you how often this has happened to me, usually it's because I am reading a book I can't put down. That is a really stupid reason to go without sleep. After all the book is not going anywhere, nor is the outcome going to change. At least you had a good reason.

To be honest, that is me every single night and morning. I like to have some quiet time of my own during the day and it seems like the only time that I can get that quiet time is after my husband and children have gone to bed. I'll stay up until about 2:00 am and then when the alarm goes off at 6:50 I never want to remove myself from the bed, but I usually do. Today was an exception though, I made my husband get up with our daughter because I was so cold. The temperature dropped during the night and it in turn made the house cold. I couldn't remove myself from the blanket.

I wake up late when I go to bed late at night just browsing the net, looking for something that I can earn a little money for myself aside from my work. I want to extend my earnings to my family but it's not enough. Do you have any suggestions?

It is healthy to have at least 8 hours of sleep, it is painful to recall those nights when you have to stay up long hours studying for finals, or unable to get to sleep because you forgot to pay the electric bill.

We all have experienced that - haven't we? I've stayed up way beyond 12. Sometimes I've been up till 3 a.m. Thing is when you do stay up that late, the next day ain't funny at all. You never get adequate sleep and wake up grumpy or with a headache or feeling tired. So, I try to go to bed as early as possible!! I hate getting up in the mornings anyways :)

I know how you feel. I do it all the time and have to get up at 5. I will sit here working on the computer, and the next thing you know it is midnight. I pay dearly the next day.

Sounds like you got a cat nap instead of sleep. I wish I could set my computer to go off at a certain time that way I would know when I supposed to go to bed. I usually stay up too late and I don't have an indicator telling me to head off to bed, I think I'll talk to the computer gurus and see what they think.

Hi ya Shar19
I have had a couple of nights like that! Last night I too went to bed at 12 and my son was knocking on my bedroom door at 6.30am, the alarm clock hadn't even gone off. I told him to go back to his room as it was still the middle of the night!! hahah I kinda said to myself as I was going to bed at midnight that it was really a dumb idea to be going to bed at this time of night and I will regret it in the morning and sure enough - I did!!
