Stuck at 100 posts

I was kind of excited to reach 100 comments yesterday. But then the next 3 comments I made also said 100? Does anybody know why that is? I haven't paid much attention before it's just that the 100 stuck out. Do you think that has anything to do with my 0 to 1 cent a day here? Oh well, I'll see what this one does when I post.

Hi PamelaL, Your post would be up by one if your: 1. Started a new discussions and your discussions receive 2 posts ( 2 responses or 1 response and 1 comment). 2. Your first response to others discussions 3. Your first comment on your discussion or others discussions. If you already earn the point (total posts), you will not receive any other point from that discussion. basically we only can add 2 posts to our total posts from a discussions.

The one thing that I have noticed is my number is lower the next day, than it was when I logged off the day before. However, I haven't ever made posts in other people's discussions, and not seen my number go up. I think the reason my number had gone down before, was because I had possibly responded in discussions that were deleted. I think someone else mentioned that earlier in this discussion. I also know that my number does not go up when I respond in my own discussions. I hope this information is a bit helpful. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS on making the 100 mark!

Thanks! I hadn't really been paying much attention to those numbers. But when it hit 100 I noticed! lol. But then it was 100 for the next several comments so maybe that happens but I just didn't notice.

hi pamelal that was because you were unlucky enough to have responded to three discussions that were just then deleted' by mylot I notice it has happened to me a lot lately too,so just keep on going and if you see a discussion that looks like it might be iffy for breaking one of my lot rules bypass it then' you will not be so apt to lose a point on that one. see all the discussion is deleted even our responses so we get no credit on the ones that are deleted.

Hi, Pamelal, mylot has its rule to calculate your rank number or comment number, and it is proved reasonably. So please not worry about this, and you must notice that system will reset every 24 hours, but not the same time, depends on other factors, such as login time of members. and congrats for your reachment to 100, but i think it is only small step, is that right? If you keep on posting on mylot everyday, you will have more progress than now, so good luck!

Maybe it was a way to make your 100th post more memorable! ;-) Wow, I didn't know that post numbers go down when threads get deleted. I'm not sure I read those in the rules. Are those like copycat threads or Mylot TOU violations?

Oh, sometimes you might comment BEFORE someone breaks the rules and the whole thread gets deleted. I have no idea how you know if one did, I never noticed. I there have been several times when my "count" didn't go up after a comment... maybe it takes awhile to catch up and I happened to notice at 100 LOL

Or maybe Mylot posts are counted manually! And your 100 situation is a freak human miscounting incident. ;-)
