Scared of IVF

October 4, 2009 7:49am CST
After many months of examinations my husband and I are now approaching our first fertility treatment. I know that we won't have a choice as the doctors are pretty sure without IVF treatment, we won't have a baby. But that doesn't stop me from being scared. The injections, the hormones, the frequent abences from work and the emotional impact. Have you gone through it? How have you dealt with it?

My partner and I are currently on the waiting list for IVF. We have about another 6-8 months to go. I am just as scared as you are. I hate needles, and it all sounds so very overwhelming. Im hoping for your sake that since it is 10 months since you posted this that you have had success with IVF. I would love to hear your story, and things have gone for you.
