taraelocin Yes, scenery is a nice reason. I enjoy being a co-driver though - at least I can see the scenery around.

taraelocin Most people will agree. When you first get your license, it is a lot more exciting. When you are older it's just useful.

taraelocin No, no his first car by any means. Ad he doesn't do it all the time. He just enjoys it - I don't mind as long as he drives! I just don't enjoy driving myself.

My mother-in-law recently lost her husband and felt quite lonely. So we went out with her to buy a cat. She didn't want kittens, but some more relaxed and older cats. So the obvious choice was the RSPCA and its cat rescue centre....

taraelocin Not sure if they are all sweet. Some might have been brought in because they had problems. Or had problems because of where they were before. But I agree, they all need a good home.

I am so excited - I just got a bunch of vouchers trough in the post from a survey company. I saved for a long time to get all those vouchers. So tomorrow I am going into town after work and buy myself a 3rd generation Ipod...

What are you doing about gas prices now that they are around $3.00? Is it easier this time because you learned to cope last time? To me it just doesn't seem as bad, I guess I've been conditioned to the changes.

taraelocin There isn't all too much you can do,really. I need my car to get to work. I refuse to keep worrying about it as I don't have any control about it anyway. But I do try to drive sensibly, hence using less petrol.

taraelocin At least he made it to the wedding. Imagine planning to get married abroad and then not being able to go! I know it is hard for many in the moment, but if there is a real risk, I'd rather they are overly careful. As you say - better than people dying.

taraelocin It is so frustrating that it just can't be predicted how long it takes. Everday we think planes will start again and then a new announcement comes through. I spent a night once at an airport due to fog - I wouldn't want to spend a week.

taraelocin I imagine they are sad. A honeymoon is such a special occassion. A friend of mine booked a 'once in a lifetime' holiday to Dubai. It won't happen now and as it is classed 'force majeur' he won't even get his money back.
