I love e-books because they are lighter than books lol. But I can't stand reading it for too long as it hurts my eyes. If you force yourself they even causes eyestrain. I only read it once in a while though.

If we talk about studying, I prefer hard copies or books. I used to underline words for quick search and it’s hard to use an ebook even if you’re using a laptop. If we talk about reading fiction, I prefer ebooks because you can just download it for free unlike when you buy it, it’ll cost something and I myself only read a book once. Hehehe..

Even though ebooks are easier to get and keep, I prefer real books. Sitting and reading off a computer screen for a long time makes me dizzy and gives me a headache. If the book is really interesting then I forget to get up and take a break from the screen. Plus I can't really relax in a comfy chair like I can with a real book because I don't have a laptop. :D

I have to laugh at this. I have downloaded and bought SO many ebooks, but DO NOT enjoy trying to read something longer than a page or so online. I find it is not comfortable sitting at a desk to read for a long time. there is nothing the same as holding a book, and being able to change your position when reading it, or location! ALSO the amount of paper and ink needed to print htem off to read them can get expensive and cluttry. Now, as far as research studying, that I enjoy. Googling to find different opinions and resources. Yet, again if it is a long response or copy would rather be checking out a book to read it. I know they say we will not have book soon and they will all be put into ebooks. What happens if electricity fails??? No more books? Or God forbid the ultimate hacker comes with a deadly virus. Books are good, they last, they are valuable, they are memorable. Using the computer and ebooks once in awhile is fine, but not on a regular basis or as a substitiute for a real book! thank you for your question, Arcticwolf

I have a lot of ebooks I have downloaded too but I haven't read them all. I will read ebooks but I still prefer real print books. I'm just not as comfortable reading a book looking at a computer screen. I think my eyes tend to get lost easier on the computer screen, especially if it's formatted so the print goes wide across the whole screen. Also I end up staring at the computer like a zombie after a while because it's in the same position all the time. When I read a real book, I might sit in a chair, shifting from side to side once in a while, maybe move to the couch or recliner to get comfortable. Can't do that with the computer so I think I get fidgety after a while so I just can't read an ebook for very long at a time. Some books are only available in electronic form though so I guess I'll have to get used to it...

my opinion to similar to most people who made response here, I prefer to read real books instead of Ebook on screen, my eyes would feel sour when staring at the screen for too long a time! I also have a lot of ebooks on my computer, I was keen on reading ebook the last year. There was a period of time, I read everything on computer, and my short sight degree sore to 600 degree soon! And my eyes hurt very much! So now I only read real book, for those ebooks, just glance for a while sometimes.

yes, you are right, I too find it hard read books on pc..But you know what for me its always easy to find information when its required from these ebooks..Its always handy while for real books we need to go to the market and purchase it or either we need to borrow it from library.. It takes time and we need to wait till then..the most important thing is money :D..we need to pay either to purchase it or to the library..while for ebooks are free most of the time..To get something we need to loose something..either u spend money and precious time or u get tired and get bored..Its individual choice..

I think I am the opposite. I prefer reading on the computer screen and I get tired faster when I read on paper. I also don't like the smell coming out of most papers. But it seems most people prefer to read it on paper and they print out everything. If it is possible to make reading on screen be more acceptable to everyone, we could save a lot papers and hence a lot of trees.

Ebooks can't match with common books of course. People will feel a little tired and uncomfortable for there exists some facts that do harm to our body with computer. Books are our friends for we can gain all information from them but Ebooks. You'd better spend lots of time on computer and study with ebooks and you can't benefit anything from them. In fact, reading ebooks on computer is a bad habit for me.

I really don't like e-books. It makes my eyes feel weird. I'm a bit more traditional on this matters than being modern at all.

I prefer a real book for reading, and an ebook for reference. I get annoyed at how so many things now come without real printed manuals. Ebooks are so much cheaper though. Hopefully some time soon they will come up with an affordable ebook reader that does not give me a headache after using it for long.

Books are always the best companion for anybody.. But definitely a ebook doesn't play that role for my case.. I ve struggled to study from an ebook many times.. Any time I would prefer a book rather than a ebook:)
