Has anyone done any of the paypal/donation tasks?

After seeing that discussion in the mylot digest about how a member of mylot had made $30 in 24 hours on tasks alone I thought I would have a look. As English isn't her first language and mine is I thought that I should surly be able to do at least one task. The first one I came across was asking to make a donation of $2 to someone, surly this has got to be a scam. There were still 15 or the 15 tasks still available but I noticed further down that they were offering $10 for completion of a similar task and there were only 5 of the 15 tasks left.
What do you think? Is this a scam or what? Are you one of those myLot members that has completed one of these tasks?

Yes I saw that post too. But what with working I barely have time to answer my friends' responses let alone do any tasks! I have never ever looked at them.

Hi ya cynthiann
Well this took less than 5 minutes to do and it was worth it, I thought I would risk it as it didn't really seem alot to lose really. I hope you can get back to answering your friends discussions and starting new ones again soon, take care and don't work too hard!!
Thanks

It is Sunday and I am at work preparing for Wednesday's AGM. Just took a little brak - the numbers I am looking at seem to be jumping all over the place. It does sound worthwhile though. Do they inform you if you have been successful or unsuccessful?

I completed a couple of task but that was a few months or so ago I think I'd do more if they weren't so difficult at least in my opinion a lot of them are a bit hard to complete. but congrats to you for successfully completing some. I hope I have better luck next time.

I am intrigued Humbug. I am picking up on your answers here rather than the original discussion. I only ever tried one task and I had to ask a query because they gave no key words. They rejected my task on the grounds that it was incomplete. Which it was as they didn't give me enough info in the first place. But what intrigues me is that it took you only five minutes. Was this one of the six paragraph tasks? My command of English is passable I think. But to write six paragraphs plus do the research in only five minutes is amazing!! Perhaps I should remain ignorant. I might be better off. LOL.

Hi ya p1kef1sh
Ignorance is bliss don't they say? hahaha Well no it wasn't one of those paragraph tasks I don't even attempt those ones. All you had to do was donate $2 via paypal and you would get $4 back. I thought I would chance it and my earning increased by $4 within half an hour of doing it!! I hope that clears up any mis-understanding my friend.
Thanks

I dont think it will turn out to be scam. All tasks are done through Mylot. Money for the same has to be deposited with Mylot admin. so it wont turn into a scam. my problem is if i do that task, my money is blocked till 15th of November. I need funds in my paypal to buy things that i might require or i prefer to transfer it into my bank. I did rather do things where there is no payment is involved. just because someone earned $30 doesnt mean i too imitate them.

Hi humbug.. happy mylotting buddy... i will tell you onething foremost...if you take up a task, finish it, and submit the appropriate answers then surely you willl be given money for that... if not you can report their cheating to mylot admin or stafs.... thats the rule here... so trust in the tasks given buddy... i have completed those two donation tasks(3$) and got my mylot earning incremented by 6$... so do it soon...

Hi there trev25116899 and welcome to myLot
Unfortunatly I am unable to help you with advice with the tasks because I am pretty clueless with that. What I can do is give you some advice on myLot if you would like. Get back to me if would like me to do so.
Thanks and happy myLotting

Well if I were you I would firstly answer a lot of discussions before starting any of my own. Try to answer them in as much detail as you can, I think 4 lines is usually recommended, more if you can. Then when you start your own discussions try not to make them too long because a lot of text puts people off. I try to make mine a little story behind the discussion and conclude with a question or two which enables people to respond. Try to choose topics that with relate to most people, keep them light-hearted and I wouldn't advice talking too much about religion, that seems to get people's back up on here and you don't want to become unpopular. Get yourself lots of friends too, as they will be the ones to respond to your discussions and the more responses you get the more money you will earn, apparantly. The final thing I would advise you to do is to get as many referrals as you can because if they are making money, you will earn from what they make. Good luck

hello Humbug25,
i tried answering one of the tasks so i can earn more but i'm afraid i don't have much of the idea about the subject matter. if i try, then for sure my answer will be rejected anyway. maybe next time.

Actually you got 8 hours to complete the task once you accept it. What I am not sure if you accept the task, if it is locked down so others can't accept. I think it's good because you have a chance that your work will be accepted once you submit it. But it still involved a lot of research.

I have never tried doing a task. I did look at them once & decided they weren't for me. I do have a friend on here that does them & seems to do quite well w/them from what she says.

Hi there ANTIQUELADY
I did the same as you but thought that I would have another look as I saw that discussion in the myLot Digest about the woman who got $30 in 24 hours. I thought I would risk this and do it. It took me less than 5 minutes and yes I have made a donation or $2 but I have already been paid the $4 they said I would, so I have made and extra $2 that I wouldn't have.
Thanks

I never yet try the task here and many of our fellow will say they are get more by completing task. This is not perhaps a scam because those person asking for task is also a member here and mylot admin, not allow them if they scam people here...

I think they meant to wait until more writing tasks are posted. The others might be scams. I tried one once and never got paid so I stick to the writing tasks.

Hi: i found that task but i doubt as you did so i didn't take it. I prefer the tasks that give me just 0.10 and not take a risk. I found the Sharonbucks tasks but i can't deal with them, they seem to be very difficult 6 paragraphs using those keywords is too hard.

I have not did this and really did not know about it. I think it is a scam. I like many others would like to know if this is a scam though. I do hope someone has done this and knows what is going on with it.
Thank you for this discussion.

That sounds definitly like a scam to me and what I do is to keep away from those tasks as soon as I even read about them. It's clear that those donations don't go into some sort of charity funds, rather to the pocket of people with bad intentions.

Hi Humbug.
I have seen these tasks but have never done them, one I haven't the time and aslo can't be bothered with doing any. To me it doesn't sound like a scam but it doesn't sound right that you have to donate anything it isn't right anyway what would you earn for doing that..it isn't worth it, hugs LoLo

Well that was worth it then!..there was one task i did signing up to neobux and then just sending the info on who I had signed up as etc but got paid 10cents for it..better than nothing eh? may do one oof the other ones while they are there, the writing ones do take up time though did do one which I knew nothing about and it was accepted! that was good too, so will keep looking and seeing what there is...LoLo

hi humbug I have not done any of those tasks, too much
'work for too little money , and some make you sign up'
for junk you don't want,no, and yes I think that one'is
indeed a scam. I am not impressed at all with those
tasks.I do not like being forced to spend a dab of money
'to make another dab of money.rather do surveys andget
paid for them instead like mysurvey.com

I think the discussion starter wanted an answer from those who had experience with these tasks ;)
I think this can maybe be a way to get mylot money faster? or? Instead of waiting for the next monthly payout etc.

I was wondering the same thing. I almost tried it, but would rather not bother with it. Personally I have lost interest in most of the tasks. But hey if it floats someone else's boat go for it.

Yikes...I'd be careful of giving money to someone to earn money. I haven't looked at the tasks yet..I thought I'd just post and have fun for awhile.
