That is very, VERY tempting... but no, not really, I don't think I want to. Somehow growing old while your loved ones might die before you is not exactly a pleasant idea. However! Finding out what happens in the near future and living through it does sound pretty interesting...! (New technology, new medicine, entertainment, etc.)

Yes, that is very true! I really do wonder what could happen in our new future though! :) It is an interesting thought. There are so many alternate and science fiction stories that one of them (or all combined) might just come true! (Hopefully its all the good bits! XD)

It would all depend on my health and how happy I was. Because when you reach 100 alot of your friends and family members have passed on. I would love to if I'm healthy and happy.

im not sure if id want to suffer that long. i sometimes feel like im 100 or more. my disability really takes its toll some days. my son says he wants me to live forever of course but he doesnt know how miserable some days are. it would have been nice if my hubby was still here.

Living that long would certainly bear a lot of trials along the way. Thanks for responding.

There's nothing wrong with living until 80. That is a respectable old age to achieve.

Hey sender! I can definitely say that I would not like to live
to 100 years old! What for? I am already going to be 57 and
I can't do the things I used to do now! Why prolong the
inevitable! I think 80 would be ok, but not 100! That is just
a bit too long and too old! Even if I was healthy it wouldn't
make much sense!

Well, considering the work I have set myself to do yes I would like to. But it must happen with excellent health. That means I must not be on medicines or some such artifiacial prop to live up to 100! If my health isn't OK I would like to simple close this life if my desires are still there I always have another lifetime!!

No NO I don't want to live 100 years. I want to live a short life of something around 60-70 years. I want my life to be ended when my body strength starts to fail and my memory becomes vague and moreover I don't want to see more and more of these catastrophes that would happen. In short I want to live to see my grandchildren, thats it. After that I have no more wishes

No, thank you. I would like to live a good, full life. Reaching 100 is not my aim because I don't think that at that age, I still have my physical strength nor my good memory. My husband's grandmother lived until 100 years and 6 months and she always said to her son (my father-in-law), "Has God forgotten to take me away with him"?(referring to the fact that she was still alive after a hundred years). I think I will feel the same and will ask that question as well should I reach 100 years.

Of course I'd like to. Some may not see the dignity in being old and decrepit, but not every 100 year old is fragile and wasting away. Some like my grandfather stay relatively strong for many years of their elderly life, and I would love to do the same. It would be great to live and see my kids, and my grand kids, and my great grand kids.
