To be completely honest, I was looking forward to see this movie. Until I saw the sneak peak. Then the movie just looked ridiculous. There is too much CGI and the whole basis is unrealistic. Like in the sneak peak when you see the ground exploding behind him and yet he was able to survive that and all of the collapsing buildings at the same time? It just appeared really unrealistic to me.
Which is a shame because I like John Cusack and it looked good up to that point.

yeah his movies rely heavily on CGI
but then all his movies are like that and rely alot on graphics(except for the patriot)
but his movies are still very good and good entertainment
like day after tommorow did make people rethink the impacts of global warming with the ice age comin in all

I don't mind the CGI. Infact, I love The Day After Tomorrow. It was intense and really good. But this one jsut seems a little too farfetched for me.

I saw the preview for it on tv the other night. It looks like it is going to be really good! It is so crazy how stuff just starts collapsing into the ground! Can you imagine what life would be like if that would happen? So many people would lose their lives. I didn't catch when the movie is coming out. I'll have to try to go see it or just wait and rent it. It probably would be pretty cool to see on the big screen.
