I'm sure y'all heve been hearing about letterman's latest excapade. I was just wondering how many of the ladies that slept w/him from his staff felt like they had to to keep their job?? What is your opinion? Would u have slept w/the ugly little man. I personally don't care for him at all & very seldom watch his show. I think he's a smart a$$. What do y'all think?

Hmm, as a Duck myself, I hope I am not TOO unsexy when wearing socks...,lol But I agree....I don't watch him. I'm sure he has many fans but I recently watched him interview Emma Watson (Hermione from 'Harry Potter') and thought he was a complete idiot. I find those late night shows quite painful. I had heard of both him and Leno when I lived in England so I had a look when I moved here to America, and my pet hate is the so called 'comedy' at the beginning - it is SO contrived and unfunny, with the music playing at the punchline to tell you where to laugh, as frankly you wouldn't know otherwise! So, um, not a fan.....and NO job is worth that!

I like David Letterman although I haven't watched an entire show recently. Who knows what the real details are on both sides of this bedroom drama. Now that Letterman has spilled the beans I'm sure the ladies will be approached for their side of the story. I think we haven't heard from them yet because their sorting out which offer to accept to tell their story.

I actually have not heard of his latest. I really don't like the guy and have only watched his show a couple of times when he has had a guest on that I wanted to see. I am guessing from the way that you worded this that he pushed these women sexually?

Hi Jo, I agree, I wouldn't sleep with that ugly guy for anything in this world! UGH! He is a smart a$$ and a real turn off. Some women don't have a lick of sense when it comes to men. I just saw a clip on msn's home page about his apologizing to his wife publicly and I'm thinking, yeah right, only because he'd been caught!

I agree w/everything u said, Cats. I guess the wife accepted his apology w/a smile. What a dork to have got tied up w/him in the first place. People get really sorry when they get caught.

i think he is just an as_ . if he is smart he would've done something to cover up his being an as_ and probably had a mistake like this only once. but it seems he made it a job prerequisite.

I think that it is a shame that in the US (with all the laws defined and redefined) women still feel they have to kiss behinds and be degraded just in order to keep their jobs! While there is no doubt that David Letterman is a scambag for disrespecting and humiliating these women, I however hold all the women liable for their stupidity and further humiliation of others by their submission to such disrespectful acts! Ladies, each time you submit yourself to such acts of disrespect, you only help make other victims! Tsk, tsk, tsk! With all the laws, one would think we were talking about some "third world" nation were women have no rights!

I don't know. I think it is just terrible that he has been with his wife for 23 years, and only just married her in March. How badly must she feel. It's all so public.

I don't have a problem with him, but I would not sleep with him. I definately would not have slept with him as a young woman. They probably thought it would help their carreer, but I would never sell my soul for a job like that. It sounded like a couple of them really liked him. If that is the case it is no big deal though, but if he slept with as many as they said he did then I am sure not all of them slept with him because they really liked him. Sleeping with someone to get something is not something I would ever do. I have and have always had to much pride in myself for that.

I can't imagine anyone 'WANTING' TO SLEEP W/HIM. I have never seen anything about him that floated my boat. I can't stand his smart aleck personality either. I bet the ones that did sleep w/him wishes they hadn't now. I'm like u I wouldn't sleep w/anyone to advance my career. It didn t get them anywhere i would think except being asahmed of themselves for what they did & that is an awful feeling to have. Thanks for responding.

Hi ANTIQUELADY I watched him a little bit when I was over in the States living but like you I didn't care for him too much. I think he is very smug adn I don't find him attractive at all but some women are attracted to men who are popular that have money!

I like him and he does have a different sense of humor but I like it. I will continue to watch his show. I give him credit for coming forward with this instead of lying like so many others have done. I don't see the big deal all were not married and it was before his son. How many men/woman are having affairs at the work place and they are married with children. This is not a big deal at all to me. I'm sure the relationships were mutal consent. If not they would have reported him along time ago. It was all because this other guy who blackmailed him split up with the girlfriend and I guess he needed money and revenge.

I watch him very seldom but his personal life really is no one's business just because he is famous means nothing and we should leave famous people have a life of there own away from there fame. If they felt like sleeping with him was a way to keep there job then that is wrong and he probably have people throwing themselves at him just to say they know him and more for them is fame for many people. I personally would not sleep with him for fame or money or a job. I have morals and it would just be wrong but if you felt like sleeping with him then that is your choice no one can make you do nothing you truly do not want to do and if you stick to what you believe just face it many people have no morals and the one bribing him is after all wanting some of his fame to rub off on him. And wants money he does not earn and that is wrong. We are just to much into famous people and what they do and do not do to be like em for what reason still baffels me. After all we are own person and we need to build ourselves before we can reach any fame or self. I would like the press to low key stuff like this then fewer people would do this type of stuff. I mean look at our news daily we cover crimes like murders, stealing and such making more people think they could do that too and reasons for these crimes are put out there and truly there is no reasons to justify them. Now cover what needs to be in public light like a woman helping a elderly person with life things or someone saving another from something and promoted true things to get in the light of the news. God help this world it sure needs it.

I never have liked him. I've watched a lot of talk show hosts, and I've never seen one that always had to have the spotlight come back to him like he does. Another talk show host I'm thinking of always tried to direct the conversation back to the guest, but Letterman hogs the attention. I feel bad for his baby's mother. They were married just recently, but they were together LONG before that. And that would mean he cheated on her. Frankly, if I had slept with David Letterman, I'd be SO embarrassed.

Ah, Jo...then you have to come here! No channels here, carry Letterman! See, there are benefits to living in the "middle of nowhere!" LOL! You don't have the choice of 100 + channels, as there is NO cable! Have the choice of 5 channels, so it's easy to limit your TV! But...you know, I think Letterman is just the flavour of the week...must have been a SLOW newsweek, as I am sure that if we KNEW what went on behind closed doors...Letterman's escapades would be dim! Yup, it is all over the news here, too,! Hope you are fit as a fiddle this a.m., and I have been amiss in NOT telling you I love your humorous e-mails. Truly thank you for sharing...and adding many sparkles to my day. HUGZ & LUV

I ma not really familiar with this situation but it involves sleeping with letterman in order to keep his job then he is the lowest form of scum on the face of the planet and tehy should fire him just for that .Who gives him the right to take advantege of others in that manner for his own selfish desires .I wonder hwo he would feel fi soemone did that to his mother or sister but then he seems to be an uncaring human and may not care at all

I've never liked him either. I think he's a jerk. I also agree that there may have been the issue of those ladies feeling like they needed job security too. I can see him being that way. I would have hiked my own smart a$$ right out of there before sleeping with that weasal. No way my panties are dropping for a job much less for that jerk.
