I am sure that a beach or garden would be wonderful, but I am quite oldfashioned in the opinion that weddings are meant to be in the Church. So I would prefer to get married in the Church for the special ceremony!!

Well I am more familiar with church weddings, that is the more traditional way around my way as there are not many beaches locally. I think even if the option of a garden or beach wedding was available on a regular basis I would still go for the church option.

Actually, none of the above. I was married in the town hall and it was just perfect. I had only my immediate family as witnesses and the marriage was officiated by the mayor. For me, it was the most solemn and intimate ceremony I ever had, my own wedding. If it was on the beach, I would have problems with the sand, the wind blowing in my eyes no matter how romantic the idea sounds. A church wedding is too fancy for me and I don't want to enclosed in a church with so many statues staring down my face. A garden wedding would also not be ideal because should it rain, my wedding will just be ruined.

on my own opinion, i'd really prefer a church wedding not because I am catholic but because when you have a church wedding, everything is so solemn.
you would also receive blessings from God and from the community as well.
Its just so sad that many people nowadays doesnt believe on how sacred church wedding is.
a beach garden would be nice too. Much nicer for garden weddings because you can actually customize the place.
i'd still go for church wedding.

Because of my up bringing, I would say a church wedding. Traditionally this is what I am use to, I would prefer a church wedding. I am not saying that a beach wedding would not be nice, because it would be, but my preference would be a church wedding. I would think because I am doing it is the church hopefully more blessing and a solid foundation would be with us forever.

For wedding obviously it is church after wedding for the reception I might choose the beach rather than garden

If ever I'll get married, I want a church wedding. I think of it not just as something traditional but to start a new life with God as the center of our lives.

Hmm I would personally prefer garden wedding. Beach wedding would be great as well, but everyone's going to get real "sticky" coz of beach air so I don't think I'd want that. Church is good, but it will depend on the church. But I really think garden wedding in good weather would be awesome..

My wedding was a garden/park wedding. It was so perfect. It was late summer and a nice 72 degrees that day. A slight breeze which made it nice too.

I want the garden-beach wedding. I saw some pictures of a wedding held in a garden of a beach in Bataan, and its so beautiful plus nature looks really good in pictures. its going to be quite expensive though, cause if you live far from the beach, then you have to arrange everything for you relatives, friends and guests for their accomodation, transportation and others, but its okay. wedding is such a precious moment in one's life :)
