How many members are active on mylot?

hi thea, thanks for the response and you may be right but as a matter of fact out of the 14 responses i got so far for this discussion only 2 are not in my friends list and i usually see only 3 or 4 person making discussions in my friends list and i add everyone who asks for the add or who responds to my discussions and whose discussion i respond to so i must be having around 170 or more and only 3 or 4 active is a cause of concern.

That's because if you just add friends randomly by only looking at one discussion how do you know if you have the same interests in common. I choose my friends carefully as there is no point having a friend on the list who only posts on computer interests for example. It also helps if you hit it off with someone. A lot of my friends reply to my discussions but I wouldn't expect them to if they weren't interested in the subject, and the same with them.

hi lelin, thanks for the response and your response is very short but totally to the point and yes i feel the same that there are only very limited person who are always making discussions or responding to the discussions. If even 50% of 200,000 people are active then i dont think we can easily see the discussion made be one time and again and probably wont ever see his or her idscussion on home page as by the time the page would load 10 new discussions would come up.

I too have over 200 friends but I don't see them on mylot that offen at all. Its usually the same 10 people. You are one of them. Have a good day!

hi machizmo, thanks for the response and yes in 90% this do wear off but i got 4 referrals and all of them are inactive.. three have 0 post against their name and one has 5.. so whats the use of such members here who would just join and run away.

hi malamar, thanks for the response and i dont know answer of this question seriously. I put the figgure at 500 but then i may be well off the mark and it may be 50,000 so i really dont know. i was just very curious when i asked it.

hi zandi, thanks for the response and yes we all live in different time zones when it is 9 am here it is 9 pm in usa which 3 am in united kingdom. So not all can be active at same time but take this discussion for example , only two out of 14 responses i got were from people who are not in my friends list so i can say not many active people are there whom i have not interacted in some discussion, hense number can be in hundreds who are really active.

hi mys, thanks for the response and well active person are those who come here and post or take part in discussions how less the number of discussions may be but they should be here 3 times a week or may be atleast twice. When i check the members who are making discussions it is same group of 50 or so person who are making regular discussions and few new ones and once they know they wont be paid by simply making discussions but actual hard work here they vanish..or still they looking for referrals.. well those who come here only for tasks are well i wont count them as active because mylot basically is not a task compnay but a social networking site.. tasks are just fringe benefits and if they want to do only task then they can go to mturk which got far too many tasks then here.. i do wish atleast 50% of the membrs are active

hi hatley, thanks for the response and about 30 friends of yours response and i found you got over 300 friends so if 30 respond then i can guess over 200 must be those who probably never respond , nor you would be seeing them post any discussion of thier own. yes it should be somewhere between 500 to 2000 person who are active here. I just wish atleast 50% of the person who join here , remain active, it would help all of us.

hi daliaj, thanks for the response and and yes most of person whom i or my friend have reffered are not active infact none is and my friend has over 2 pages of referrals on his account. And yes i am not seeing many persons whom i have added over last few months so i guess the number is very less.

hi ankuler, thanks for the response and yes many interests get lot less responses than other interests but if you see the number of active person on all the interest as you said once per week then it is not hugh and those who are active 4 or 5 days a week are very less in hundreds as you guessed. Your guess is as good as mine and no one except mylot admin has answer to it i guess.

hi masteronline, thanks for the response and yes there are lots and lots of discussions here on mylot and there is one new every few minutes but take a look and you would find it is mostly a group of person who is posting them mostly. You can see a same person making many discussions and also try to follow the ones who made dscussions and you would find that soon most become inactive and their posts remain same even after a month of them becoming inactive.

hi balbalha, thanks for the repsonse and if there are no members on this site i dont think this site would be able to pay you at all as sdvertisers pay according to the members of sites and if there r not much active members than:(
