Good Serial Killer Movies

Hi Ambrezik, Monsters starring Charlize Theron based on the true story of Aileen Wuornos. The news media touted her as the first female serial killer but she actually was the first to break the sterotype, instead of poison, she actually shot the victims. I remember the movie was pretty good, but I read a book based on Aileen Wuornos and I can't remember the title of it but that was really good. There's another movie, and its old (I mean going back at least 10 years if not more) I'm not sure if it is based on a true serial killer but I think the title of the movie is Black Widow, Debra Winger stars in it and its decent but I'm not sure if there is any basis on a known black widow killer.

Hey Amy...uhm, lemme see...'Scream' the first one is interesting. There was one that Spike Lee did on David Berkowitz..I forget the title, I think it was called 'Son Of Sam'. Are you referring to actual cases or fictional?

Movies about Hannibal Lecter especially the Silence of the Lambs is one great serial killer movie... eventhough Hannibal is this scary killer... one can't help but admire his sophistication... Another one is Seven... the ending is something worth waiting for... great twist...

I love the movie Zodiac. I saw two movie versions about this serial killer. One was from the point of view of a newspaper cartoonist Zodiac made in 2007 and the other was from the point of view of the detective in charge of the murders The Zodiac made in 2005. Both were well-made and very suspenseful. I like to watch movies about serial killers because it's really fascinating to see how the police capture the bad guys. But serial killers are the most frightening criminals I think because their motives are unclear and they can kill at random. Anyone can be their victims. The most frightening serial killer I think must be Jack The Ripper. Many movies have been made about him. And I think the one with Johnny Depp From Hell is one of the best. You should check that out.

Silence of the Lambs is an excellent movie. There are so many movies in this genre,it is tough to summarize just a few. A couple of others that I liked were The Deliberate Stranger (Ted Bundy), To Catch a Killer (John Wayne Gacy) and The End of the Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez). I have seen many other good ones too, but some of them I don't remember the exact name of the movie anymore.

I think Scream is good serial killer movie for you to check out. I Hope you can enjoy the movie, the story can blow your mind at the time..really really scary movie i think.. ;)
