What would you write, about who and why? Remember the Ray Stevens called Its Me Again Margaret? Funny song! There is one by Jim Stafford too that is about a number written on the wall and he calls it but I can't remember the name. Anyone remember it? So, if you were to write graffiti on a bathroom wall which wall would it be and what would you write? Would it be funny, or pay back? I would probably write something about my third husband on a certain bar wall in retaliation for the rumors he started about me when we seperated. Terrible huh? I was trying to think of something funny but couldn't.

oh pikey that makes my day he he I had to grin. just
remembered when I first came here someone made a discussion
about which hand do you use to clean yourself in the
restroom. I asked several mylotters if that was really a
discussion topic and they all said yes, so I even responded
to it myself. he he he he.[em]

I know about Ray Stevens song and just the name Jim Stafford sounds like someone I have heard of before and the song's contents sound familiar, but I don't know if it just sounds like a familiar name and song, or I've actually heard of him and the song you talk of.
In any case, I think one thing that I would write on a wall would probably be a fact, or maybe even a reminder : keep the toilet seat down... Though that would only be if it was a unisex bathroom, lol!
Hmm... I may write a verse from the bible, or a favorite quote, maybe a joke, or a song lyric. Or I may just write : Someone was here in blah blah year. I've seen that in bathroom stalls in schools I went to.

Finally someone who knew the Ray Stevens song. And Jim Stafford sang afew about the same type of things. Funny. Sort of a Arlie tribute again from me I guess. Thanks for your input. Alittle tame but that is okay.

Yes, very tame, lol. Ray Stevens has some good songs. My husband and I are frequent singing part of USSR... "Yo Yo Yo Yo Yo" lol.

Hi Celticeagle, there's only one bit of graffiti seen on toilet walls over here and every toilet bears the same inscription, coupled with a large red cross. It simply reads 'Do not put toilet paper in the toilet'. Sometimes it also says it in Greek as well. I do the same on my bathroom wall if I have vistitors.

hi thea I am thinking you probably put used toilet tissue
'in the bin because you do not have high enough water
pressure to adequately flush it down the drain. I am
here in the US of course where we use flush toilets with
high water pressure. we forget things are not the same all
over this ever shrinking globe of ours. I love that in mylot
as it opens up a way to learn about people and their cultures
from all over this small world.

If you don't put toilet paper in the toilet, then where do you put it?

I think, I will follow what most of the people do in public bathrooms wherein they tend to post their mobile phone numbers to attract textmates. Amazing? I found it funny actually. Imagine, you will post your mobile phone number in order to look for future partners....

On the wall above the toilet I would write,
'You may lose more than your cookies. Bulimia kills.'

i won't write any thing bad on the wall. maybe just some funny things. i would not write any personal messages hoping the person will read it on the wall not unless i am sure that the person will be able to visit the place and read what i have written on the wall.

I would write something that comes from the heart!!!!!!! =)I would write my boyfriend's name and my name and put a heart in between them. I already made a habit of writing my boyfriend's name and my name together anywhere. If I have a pen or pencil in my hand, I would doodle and I would include my boyfriend's name and my name PLUS a heart in between our names.. Sounds childish right??? I don't care,,,, =) I just love doing it anyway...

are you refering to the song "jenny" originally done by tommy tutone...and then covered by BILLIONS of other bands?
"Jenny, I got your number,
I need to make you mine.
Jenny, don't change your number,
8-6-7-5-3-0-9 (8-6-7-5-3-0-9)
8-6-7-5-3-0-9 (8-6-7-5-3-0-9)
I got it, I got it, I got it!
I got your number on the wall!
I got it, I got it, I got it!
For a good time, for a good time call...."
that's the first thing that pops into my head when talking about songs and bathroom wall writings.....
as for what i would write..well..hmmm here's one..
~“Why are you looking up here? The joke is in your hands.” – for a men’s bathroom….obviously.

Jim Stafford, he sung Spiders and Snakes, that song was hilarious. I don't quite remember the one you are referring to. Sorry I couldn't help you out with a title, there. I love Ray Stevens songs as well. The Haircut Song is one of my favorites. I'm always quoting it when someone asked me what I do for a living "I'm a Logger". I get some laughs, and a lot of confused looks. LOL
If I were going to write graffiti on a bathroom wall, it would have to be a wall where it is acceptable. Kind of like those old time bars on Broadway in Nashville. And then, I would just write M2 (except the 2 would be small like the square symbol), and then I would either write the date or just the year. That would depend on how much space I had to write it.
I found this discussion pretty interesting. I don't think that anyone has ever asked me about writing on bathroom walls before. LOL Thanks, and have a great day!

Interesting question.
Id write my favorite quote. It is very inspiring. When i read it, i feel like i can go on. And i want to share it with anyone. Someone who's about to give up might get hope from it. It's just a little thing but if i can help someone, then i'll be happy to.

That's a good idea for a graffiti. Applying yours with my personal life, I'd put something like, "Say no to procrastination!"

I think i'd write a funny joke or make a reponse to another graffiti or at least i'd made a political comment about something that it's happening in my country. Even if i tell this i seldom do this because i won't like to have problems. It's better to read them that to make them.

That would be cute. You wouldn't feel like doing something naughty? Who would find out? That is the whole reason behind this. Doing something naughty and no one knowing it was you.

I'd write "I'm watching you", then see how many people decide to use a different stall. :p
