well, what I do, is I think of the things that he likes, specially those that he mentions out of the blue, even small things are really great. It doesn't need to be really expensive. as long as it comes from the heart ( cheesy i know. lol. ) When my boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary, I gave him a tin can, inside where 300+ notes folded..I wrote there why I love him, the things that makes me happy, i wrote there my thank you's and my sorry's .. he was really happy with it, and everyday, he gets one note, and read it..

LoL. I think I got that idea here in mylot, I posted a discussion on what could I give my boyfriend for our coming anniv and since I don't have any money, I need something that won't cost me anything. lol. Turns out, having no money is a blessing in disguise, cause my boyfriend loved my gift. hehehehe.

That is really romantic idea. I would love it too. I meant why love cost so much to love someone? What we have to do just to express ourselves in many other forms, not necessarily to be material. I would love this idea, and test it out for my girlfriend too.

cool.. it really is sometimes better to give something from the heart that does not cost anything.. another time, I gave him a poem, I wrote it, and emailed it to his office email just before he gets to work, that way I know my email would be the first thing he would open.. he was really surprise and happy.

For me I will definitely spend between 100-200 on a gift for him. Of course only the big gifts will come on his birthday and christmas. Last christmas I bought him this really nice digital camera. I know that if he and I ever get married the price I'd be willing to spend will go up. But 100-200 I think is as far as I'll go for now.

Well, in my opinion, it doesn't need to be expensive price as we discussed above. But that really depends on the worth. If you felt like to give him that expensive, you might just go ahead and pay for it.

Atleast 20$-30$ but it depends a lot on the thing I buy. If it's very unique, I can pay 60-100$. I don't really care about the price but there is always a minimum that I follow.

Just buy a gift from the heart and that's it. Its not how expensive, its all about the purity of your love. :)

Hmm... I don't actually have a 'budget limit' for it, as long as I spot something nice and something he'd smile about, then that's it. If the price is too hight, then I'll save for it.
It's not about how much it costs, it's how much I love looking at him when he opens the present.

I might want to buy her an expensive dress from Bebe on her birthday or christmas day. I don't know how much it gonna cost. Last time I shop with her in the mall, I saw her like it so much, and the price cost over $100. Ewwww, I sweat a little. Well, once in a year, I would do that for her. For you, why not buy you boyfriend a new cellphone or something like that, boy might like it.

Honestly, I don't have price preference when a special person give me a gift. I should be thankful always because he/she remember me. The essence of it really matters for me, it doesn't matter how much or what is the cost. I always treasure every gift given.

The price is not required and does not matter once you want to give a gift to someone. The essence of the gift really matters. Once I give gifts, it's on my sincerity of giving it to the person.

well ,I think that gift is not more expensive the better .A gift is just a symbol, and the emotion is the most important. If your boyfriend like reading , you can before the festival give him a book ,if your girlfriend like a romantic ,you can sent her a rose, when she work in a busy ,a rose sent to her desk ,she would feel very happy.

Hi babyorchid, christmas is on the way and is very special to give a gift for your love one's. I really feel nice when i give something to someone. Well coming to the point......for your gift to your bf. Why don't you make a list of his likes. Out of your list find out which one will be your affortable cost and think wether your bf will like it or not, or will be useful for him or not. Juz try to figure out which one will be the best for him and see your budget as well. All the best.
