baby at the mall

today, we brought our baby to the mall because we really didn't have someone to leave her with. so along she came with us because there was a toy sale and there was up to 70% discount on selected items. we got really good bargains selecting toys for our godsons and the children of our pastor and also our nephew. we also got some pieces for our daughter. While we were about to check out, i noticed that our baby, who was on her papa's front because she was in a carrier, was starting to bow her head and her droop her eyelids. she was already so sleepy. but we didn't hear anything from her. no fuss and all. we immediately went aside and i sat down on an elevated platform, got her bottle and fed her. she was already asleep but she still fed and continued to sleep until she finished her entire 5-oz bottle. then she continued to sleep. after a few minutes, i got up and then we paid for what we got. we went around the mall further and it was only about 30 minutes later that she woke. she is such a good baby to bring at the mall, because she doesn't fuss and she participates with us while she choose toys. by the way, i forgot to mention that our baby is only 7 months old. hihi but she is already a responsible little darling that is why we love bringing her around. take care all and God bless you! happy mylotting! :-D

You are lucky. My little girl is 4 years old and I'm still trying to get her to be responsible when we go somewhere. She has done a lot better than she did in the past. i stopped taking her because she would pitch such a fit when she didn't get her way that I had someone watch her while i went to the store.

My daughter was 4 months old when we first brought her to the mall... and my mother even bought her a stroller where so that we don't have to carry her around and she can sleep whenever she wants to... kids that age are quite a darling... they are quiet because they are like amaze at the thing they are seeing for the first time and they want to take in everything... She is already 3 years old... and we go to the mall every weekends... and i can say that she is still a darling because she doesn't make demands whenever she sees a toy that she likes...

hi spoiled that is the most fun age I think and you are doing a good job of getting her used to being around people and I will bet when your girl is older she will be better behaved when you take her with you into a 'restaurant than a lot of other children as she has learned from an early age to be comfortable around other people. have fun. she will grow and change but each stage' will be fun and thrilling believe me.

I remember when my son was that age. They are always good at that age in public. But as soon as they can walk they want to get down and play with all the toys and will fuss if you dont get it. Trust me i buy a toy everytime i make the mistake of taking my son to the toy sections of the store. Who can resist that cute face that is working up to tears!?!/

Oh? Is that the reason people bring their babies to the mall? I don't have one but i have 2 nephews ages 4 years old and 8 months old. I bring them with me to the mall once a week. I just like to bring them coz i get such a high to see their excited faces when i let them eat their favorite food and buy them toys and clothes. And it's kinda cute bringing babies to the mall. But i don't bring them without their yayas coz i dont know how to take care of them. :-)

It's so nice that she was just fine at the mall...even though she's so little. My older son was just like that and we took him everywhere with us.... there's no concept of babysitting here. But my second one makes up for all the good time we had...we can't take him anywhere especially around nap time or meal time...he gets so cranky and he wants everything just so...won't sleep just about anywhere...he needs his own comfortable bed...and then would be so cranky and give us so much trouble. He's 3 now...and when he was younger, he would refuse to be in his pram or stroller and so I gave them away and now he wants one!! You are so lucky with your little one....and God bless her:)

My daughter is 5 months and she has been going out since she was 4 days old :))) so she is very experienced. I was told I was going to have a big baby, but she came out to be very small (told she was going to be over 4kg but she was 2880gr when we took her home) so I had no small clothes for her she was sweeming in her clothes so we had to go buy some clothes for her when she was 4 days old. only 1 did she cry and thats because we went to open bank account for her and it took longer then expected and she was to wet and hungry. other than that she is great nevr cries or makes a fuss. Now talking about my 6 year old :)))) thats another story. I just hope she does not copy her brother when she is older.

Oh my, when I first glanced at this discussion I thought it said 'we BOUGHT our baby at the mall'! Whoops, I think I need a pick me up this afternoon! But seriously, you are so lucky to have such a good little one. I imagine it makes life a lot easier. My sister also got lucky with their son, he's never really fussy unless there's lots of people around and he has to go to bed. It doesn't matter if he can hardly hold his little head up, he likes to be around people. He's almost 14 months old now and I've never heard him really cry. My mom keeps reminding her that she may not get that lucky with the second one!

hello spoiled, That is so sweet of her being so darling and behave every where you both go. i don't have kids but my nephew and niece kept on asking for stuff even if they're not on a mall. i feel so bad that they become dependent too much on the material things just like the television. you're lucky to have a baby that behave such.

Nice to have an adorable baby. I have to mention this incident which happend on last sunday when me and my husbadn went to a mall. We were catching up with friends and having coffee when this lady came running to us asking whtehr we saw a baby girl in white frock. W e said no and started looking for her. The lady was histerical. She was looking or buying clothes for the 2 year old girl when she suddenly realsied her absence beside her. Later we found her in a shop in opposite block, playing with the security there with a ball. She had seen the ball and went in to play.!!! Her mother was to engrosed in buying dress that she forgot about her for a few minutes!!! Be very careful when you take babies for shopping especially to malls.

Hi Spoiled, After reading your discussion I remember when we used to take my son to the mall and he was only 5 months old and he never trouble us he was such a good child he was so quite and used to watch all the bright colourful things and smile. Not only malls and where ever we go to other places he was so quiet and never worried us, even my daughter and never worries us. Both the kids are so quiet only when we are out and at home they always quarrel with each other. Because now they and grown up (7yrs son and 5yrs daughter).
