I have move at least five times in my entire life. The first to has something to do with my father being a soldier. We had to go where he was assigned twice. The third one is when I was on college, "the dorm thing". The forth one is when I have my job away from from and rented an apartment. And the last one is when I get married and move to our new house. I guess thats quite many in my entire life at the moment.

When it comes to making a move, different people may hold different ideas.
Sometimes, people may become tired of moving for it is really a waste of time and needs you to be patient to pack everything. In fact, in my country, China, most people tend to live contentedly in one place with little inclination to move else where. But people who like moving can benefit a lot, such as the new environment, the new life.
Making a move really need time and money, but you will enjoy a better life in a new place once you have moved.

I do hate moving so hope that I will be settled for a while in my new house, where I have been for 3 months so far. Luckily I was able to move in the summer which is much better. Previously it always seemed to be in the winter when it is wet and cold, making it 10 times worse.

I know how you feel. I've moved about 16 times and I think there will be many more moves to come. It's stressful, costly, and just generally sucks.

Well, moving might be very interesting at the first sight but when it comes to us for moving the stuffs, especially the big and the heavy one, we will be hating it all the way. I don't dislike moving, but I dislike moving a lot of stuffs, mostly the heavy one. And when there is no someone to help me, I feel like I will complete the moving within couple of days. =)
I had an experience, moving all my stuffs ONE BY ONE from one city to another city, and it took around 3 days until my stuffs were completely moved. Well, I didn't rent the car for moving though. =)

I felt that way when we had to move even if it is just a few blocks away because of all the hassle that comes into moving. But eventually you will get over it when you have settled in your new home. Anyway, good luck moving and I hope you will get over the hassle as soon as possible. :)

Yes when it is shifting with all your stuff its really stressful and troublesome. If it is because of your work you are moving see if you can stay alone and let the family stay back.Otherwise check out the goods carrier service in your city and leave the work for them.It costs a bit more but you can always go for it as they pack everything and assure you that everything is delivered safely.

We just moved to a bigger house a month ago from a cramped studio-type apartment. Moving was really long and tiresome. We did not have many appliances and the house we're moving in to then was just a few blocks away from the apartment so we did not hire mover. Besides, we were a little tight on budget that time. However, it took us two weeks to finally settle in. It felt like forever to me! The crazy weather was part of the delay. It's been raining cats and dogs most of the time back then and we're busy with our work. I hope not to experience that again ever.

I want to move. I hate this place so much. There's nothing to do. People being bitcchy and it's hell. Well I would want to move right now. My mom likes her job too much so that's pretty much why were not moving back at our old house. That we still have. I would want to leave her alone but, I don't think I would. I'm not that mean. xP
