I want to know whether you always use your credit card to buy things daily. For me, I always use my credit card to buy gas for my car, paying lunch / dinner in restaurant, and buying things like clothing, etc. I always use my credit card in any possible ways. How about you?

Hi dody, I pay my monthly wireless tv subscription, internet service and electricity bill via credit card. I don’t have to worry interest will be charged if paying after due date. They are paid automatically deducted from my credit card account before date due. It saves me a lot of time and trouble not to pay them in the respective counters in different buildings
Just like you, I pay my auto gasoline via credit card as well. How convenient it is just to press the button of the amount of gasoline we need to fill our vehicle on the displayed screen available at the petrol station. I use credit card to purchase other items in the hypermarket too. I don’t use the credit card to buy things if interest is charged. The interest charged for each purchase is normally 2 to 3 percents. It’s not worthy to pay the extra interest charged for sure!
Happy posting

I’m quite negligent. I have experienced paying several bills after due date. Once, the supply current of my house nearly cut off due to the two outstanding bills. Yeah, actually they must be paid three days before. Luckily that the mechanic was so kind and willing not to do that if I could pay the bills to the counter the same morning
Since then I prefer to make all the bills payment via credit card. It's convenient and without any worry of late payment of any bill. The same as here as well that we couldn’t pay water bill via credit card. My husband has to take the trouble to pay it every two month at the counter
Have a nice day!

Yes I am paying my internet bill with my credit card too. I am planning to change my payment method of my cable to credit card soon. Unfortunately, we still cannot pay the electricity bill via credit card here. So I have to pay them through ATM. I also try to avoid the charges. It is the same as here, the charge is about 2-3 percent. Usually, the charge is applied to electronic stores, cell phone stores, and some other stores.

i also use my credit card often as it helps me circulate my money better. but i don't use it in all of my purchases, there are some things i still used cash. and since credit cards now a days have this promotions with other companies which gives discounts, i find it a much more benifit to my side. but i make sure i monitor my purchases cause some people tend to use credit card too much but not monitoring their budget end up in a lot of debts. thats why i do advice family and friend to watch out for this. never over use your credit card cause if you do you might wake up one day buried in debts.

Same with me here. My credit card has a promotion with some restaurants and stores. It gives a discount for my purchase with my credit card. It saves a lot. Beside the discount, we can do installment too. Like purchasing a cell phone, we can pay it in six times payments with zero interest

I utilized my credit card same as you do. I prefer to have credit mainly bacause purchasing airticket going back to Philippines is usually online. I do not want to hassle myself going to ticketing agency just beacuse of this. Also, when purhasing expensive items, we have the option to do it in installment with no interest. That way, we just have to pay a little amount every month instead of paying the full amount at one time. Lickily I have my husband who is very good in monitoring expenses and how to manage our spending. If its only me, I will tend to purhase so many things using my credit cards but will have a problem paying all those debts.

These Credit Card Companies Promise A lot OF Stuff, But In Reality It Is Not Much .. I Use Credit Cards More Because It Saves The Trouble Of Carrying Big Amounts Of Money For Shopping .. I Will Get A Hand Blender(Cookware) Which Was Actually Supposed To Be Free With My Reward Points .. But I Need To Shell Out Around 10$ For Handling And Postage .. This I Find Really Confusing .. Did I Win Or Didn't I.
Thanks Everyone For Readying Through .. If Everyone Has Understood What I Meant To Say, Nothing Like It .. Do Have A Wonderful Day/Night ..

You have the same situation with me and some other responders here. We are points collector . I can exchange my point rewards with $10 - $15 shopping voucher for some shopping stores, ice cream shops, etc. In some promotion, when I use my credit card, I can get a discount for eating in restaurant, cafe, and even shopping. So it has a lot of benefits of using credit card nowadays

I don't have a credit card, shopping for anything I use a debit card. I think if the credit card of costly and less secure. I read and read a lot of people lost money on the credit card used by another person. I do not know it's true or not because never experienced something like that.

Although I have my credit card, but I don't use it. I rather use debit card. It would be cheaper that way, and it is my money. So, try not to use credit card that much, and if you use it, remember to pay it all at once when the bill comes.

I am trying to avoid it now. Because I can't bear too much credit card debt. I just won't do it anymore, too much debt needed to be paid, and you have to consider what you can pay for and what you can not. Just be careful about your spending and relate to your credit cards.

I usually using my cash for my daily purchase. I only use my credit card on certain condition. I think using cash is not an old fashioned payment method because however there are a lot of merchants still prefering payment which made by cash money. But if we go travelling, especially to other country, i think using credit card could be a best option. But of course not every merchant accepting payment by credit card. So however we still need to have some cash money on our wallet. I think using credit card on a new place can helping us from fake money matter. Sometimes, as we don't know anything about a new place, perhaps we even don't know about their's currency, we could possibly be a fake money victim. So using credit card help us from such problem. But in my own place, i only use credit card in emergency condition. I always have enough cash on my wallet for my daily spend and so far there's no problem with it. I also think if we should be wiser on using credit card. However credit card is about owing, it's not our own money, we need to pay back the money later. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

I reserve using my credit card only for emergencies. If I used it for buying most of my stuff, I'd probably end up in debt! Haha! Though during the first few months, I used it to buy clothes and some groceries, but now I'm saving it for the rainy days.

If you have a credit card you can spread around the costs of things using it when you find economically useful.
Its a facility to help you financially and using it wisely can be a big help.
Just make sure you don't overspend with it like lots of people do.

I don't always use my credit card while buying things. There are some reasons. First, in many occasions, paying using credit card is considered as not safe. Well, we all know enough about credit card fraud and something similar (identity stealer). I don't want that happen because arrange everything after just takes a lot of times. Second, I'm quite not happy with the interest rate. Sometimes it's too high and I don't want to afford it.
But however, I must admit that there are some advantages by paying using credit card. First, it is easy and simple to use. Second, some shops offer a wide of discounts/promotions with certain credit cards. =)

Yes, I read some news about the credit card fraud. That's why I use credit card only in famous stores or stores already has a good reliability. If you are in stores, make sure you can see when they swipe your credit card. For the interest, I never had interest in my credit card. Interest is only charged if you want to prolong your payment. If you pay the bill on time, then there won't be an interest at all.

Hi dodyast, I can say emphatically I never use my credit card as I don't have one. Credit is only just being introduced in Greece and I think it is a bad move to introduce it to a cash society as the people here are not used to dealing with credit so the it is just the first step to introducing previously unheard of debt.

My husband and I used to use our credit cards to pay for almost everything, but in the long run that ended up getting us in trouble because as much as we would plan to pay everything off the following month, it never seemed to work out that way. Now, we still have our credit cards attached to the places where we make online purchases, but as far as buying things when we are local we don't use them anymore. There is no point for us in paying for food that we've already eaten and movies that we've already seen.
We are trying as much as possible to move to a credit free lifestyle. Our plan is to be totally out of debt by the year 2020 (including our mortgage) and to buy everything that we want with cash.

One way to avoid debt in your credit card is by monitoring and controlling the use of the credit card. I never use credit card for buying things that over my budget. So I always make sure that whatever I buy, I can pay it in full the next month. That's why I never pay the minimum. I always pay my card in full amount. It can avoid the continuing debt on my card and also the interest.

I use it sometimes. It's useful when I am in town shopping for clothes or more expensive items or when I fill my car. It means that I get extra rewards and also don't have to pay bigger bills immediately. But I wouldn't use it for smaller purchases. It would make me feel as if I don't know how much I spend on an everyday basis.

First of all, I don't have a credit card. I use my debit card and Paypal to purchase things online. I am scared about having a credit card because now a days there are lots of hackers and you will be a victim of their activities. I am not ready to take that risk. Even about using my debit card, I always double check my money and activated sms (text mesasge) option, so that I get a message whenever money is taken out from my account.

i had a bad experience with credit cards before and i could hardly my bills already. i had them cut when i fully paid all of them. now, i don't have any credit card and do not intent to get another again. i pay cash when i buy things and think this arrangement is better for me. this way, i don't have to pay additional charges nor annual fee anymore as compared to credit cards.
