If you could have your choice, would you prefer to live on a mountainside with a glass roof so you could see the stars, with a few homes nearby, by the seaside, with an ocean view, or in a valley, with green trees and lovely homes surrounding your home, which would naturally be lovely as well.

Iwas born and brought up near a village beside the sea. I was never so attracted to the sea as here in India, seas aredirty and has a diffrent colour. I prefer mountains with lots of trees nad very few people around me. I can also live in a valley but as I have seen most vallies are crowded. I have laways wanted a glass roof for atleast one of my rooms or atleast glass wall on one side of our room, it would be lovely to look out to the snow capped mountains through the glass from our room and enjoy a cup of coffe with my husband.

...Hi malpoa, Thanks for responding, I don't know what tie it is where you are,it is 2:15 a.m. here and I think you just posted, so we are up at the same time. I would
love to have a home made out of logs, with a circular staircase, and an upstairs
large family room with a glass ceiling to see the stars overhead at night. Lots of grass and a sunken kitchen with lots of counter top space. Maybe one day. :o)
Looking at the snow capped mountains sounds wonderful, with a nice fireplace in the bedroom to keep you warm. Zippadedoodah! Take care.

It is difficult to say exact time diffrence coz you have more than one time slots!!! four know? With chicago, our time diffrence is 9.30 hours. we are ahead of them and it isnot during day light saving time. I generally post during morings say from our 10 to one or two in the noon.
As I said, we are looking forward to a new flat and I have asked my husband to see if one wall can be replaced with glass. we cant afford a home in the mountains now though...It would be nice to have a small but cute home with lots of flowers and trees.

Hi artistry, well I live near the sea with a sea view from my house, and my man lives up a moutainside with the sound of the river but I wouldn't much fancy a glass roof on the place, we can see the stars from the balconies. The other homes you put there would put me off the valley, but we've already got trees by the sea and on the mountain. As the mountain is near the sea it could be the most tempting as the tourists haven't discovered it yet.

...Hi theo09, Well I's say you've got the best of both worlds. How fantastic, that you both have such great places to live. Excellent choices. I am quite sure you enjoy the view daily, how spectacular. Thanks for the insight. Keep enjoying. Take care. Oh, does your man, as you call him which I love :o), hike up the mountain to the house? Thanks.

I would choose to live near the lake or the sea because the atmosphere there is so relaxing, cool and peaceful. I want to live in a place in which I can feel all the freedom. I hate being in a crowded place. I love having a house near the mountain too.

...Hi May2k8, Thanks for your response. You sound as if you are a great lover of nature, and you enjoy participating in all facets of your environment. I love the ocean, watching the water in the sea when I am near one, is a favorite pastime of mine. I love the colors of the changing leaves in the fall. Take good care.

Man, I love all of them. But I would choose the mountainside. Because if there is mountain there is water right. A beautiful riverbank is wonderful.

...Hi there shikaymaru, Thanks very much for your response. I think the mountainside would be fantastic,I am sure there would be water, that you could see, out of one of your windows and I am sure there would be trees. So you have the best of all three
choices. Take care. Have a good weekend.

I love the mountains....I am surrounded by mountains where I am, but it would be better if I lived on the water as well, river, lake, ocean, I'm not too picky. I know it's possible to have both but if I could have only one or the other it would be the water.

I would love to like on a mountainside that looks into a beautiful lake that has a waterfall. I do like the seaside and it would not be to bad except during hurricane season I would not like to be in the house along the seaside. I would not want to like in a valley because there could be flooding when it rains.

...Hi happy6162, Wow, that sounds very picturesque. I love to see beautiful waterfalls. I went on the internet for an arm chair trip and found a place with many waterfalls, and I just sat there for probably an hour looking at the various waterfalls they had included. Point well taken about the flooding. Thanks for your response. Take care.

..Hi there riverblue, Welcome to the ranch, enjoy. I like your name. Well, you just chose one of the most exciting places, I think, in the world to live. Greece is gorgeous and I can't imagine anyone, who would be living in Greece, going on a vacation anywhere. Your home would be your vacation spot. You would have it all. Take care, thanks for your response.

I'd have to choose the seaside. I don't enjoy climbing, so the mountainside could be a little bit tricky. The valley sounds nice, but we had so much flooding in recent years that I'd be worried! Okay, that's the pessimist in me speaking! But most importantly, I love the seaside.

...Hi taraelocin, Thanks for your response. I like the sea as well, calming it is. If I were to choose the mountainside, taking into consideration what you mentioned about the climbing, let's get innovative and have a back of the mountainside moving chair lift (lazy as I am) of some kind. The valley would be pretty but kind of same old same old in a way. You would have to consider possible flooding in some areas. Take care.
